Freakin SoF I don't mind Solomons store as much, at least you know what your getting if you do pay for things but I still wish they would put as much effort into the actual game in order to increase memberships and make their money that way. I wouldn't mind these items and animations etc if they implemented them into an actual part of the game, eg as quest rewards.Also using any of the things you buy from them often labels you a noob who just spends more money on the game to look good (something I encountered even though I haven't spent a thing on either of these, I just spent my initial RuneCoins well, I only bought stuff that was free and stuff that was on sale and I actually wanted and could afford)Sorry, I just needed to vent my frustration.

So I'm considering at some point getting GW2 but I have never played the original and I know pretty much nothing about it so I'd like to know more before deciding whether to get it.The main things I would like to know is what it costs, ie. Is it a one off payment for the game or is it more like WOW where you have to buy the game AND pay a monthly fee. Also just some basic background information would be good. I've tried looking for this myself but haven't really gotten anywhere with it so I figured you guys would probably be able to answer my questions.

I really should play Fallout 3 and New Vegas, I've got them both I just haven't played them yet.I guess because I try and avoid playing to many RPGs since they always take up so much time.

Yeah, I just recently got up to date with D. Gray-Man which i enjoy, and I've just started reading One Piece (well I'm like 100 chapters through it but in One Piece thats nothing, lol) I'm also almost caught up with Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji).Fairy Tail is amazing, I highly recommend it. The art is really good quality (and yet the artist is still one of the fastest manga-ka) and the story is really unique and well paced. The anime is also really good, there aren't many fillers and its actually one of the few anime where I think the English voice actors actually really suit there characters.

Welcome to the community :DI can totally relate to being an anime fan, although the anime I watch are very different (Bleach, Naruto, Death Note, Fairy Tail, Soul Eater the usual Shonen stuff), although I'm starting to expand into very different genres and styles, (I even started reading some really obscure manga about some girl who controls bananas) I generally read manga though rather than watching the anime.Anyway, once again welcome to the community and also to TRR

I hate trying to find Scientific Journals...There always far more complicated than they need to and rarely actually say what your looking for, especially since I'm still at a basic level of science.

Yeah its for uni, I've got to find 3 scientific journals to support the claims I make in my Ecology Prac Report. So far I've found 2 that I can use, and they aren't that great, theres only really one sentence in each of them that was actually relevant to what I'm doing. Because its such basic stuff the proper scientific journals just assume anyone reading it is familiar with it so they don't go into detail on those things.

Similar thing with English where I had to come up with a social theory based on some real world examples and use scientific journals to back it up.
Usually, the best course of action is to bs it, draw your own conclusions from your source, and just quote random sentences that connect it all together.

The time is really inconvenient for me so I won't be able to make it but I also think we should do it even if attendance is low, we really need to get events and stuff running.

I think the 3k log is a one off payment, the upkeep is paid in anagogic orts. (I think you need 300 of them) I could be wrong though.

We need to actually cap and have enough left over first, maybe this will encourage people to work on the citadel though

So I just finished capping at the citadel and... Not looking good, especially since the citadel has already dilapidated. Fortunately next week I know there's a few newer members who hadn't been in the clan long enough to be able to contribute at the citadel this week who want to and will be able to after the next build.

I've decided I'm no longer going to run Citadel Gatherings, I've run it 4 times and no one has turned up so theres better ways my time could be spent. If the event team or anyone else wants to create a similar event they are more than welcome to.

I suppose i didn't really ask a question per se, i made a statement you didn't technically reply to, would be better wording. Technically you half made a reply to my statement about the point of doing it, but left no response the the rest of my statement "In reality, then clan is never going to use it anyway"
Anyway .. yeah, no hard feelings my friend, just my opinion.

Okay, I get ya now.
The thing is the citadel can be really useful, its great for a bit of skilling training, though in order to make full use of that you need to upgrade it, the thing with the clan avatars could make it even more useful. And there are definitely people who do like using the citadel and there would be even more if it was upgraded more.

Sort of see your point, i just .. well, it never got used when i was around, and it doesnt seem like there is more activity than before, so i guess its just me being pessimistic.
Honestly, i'd come back and play more if people actually attended events - there are WAY too many people in this clan who dont use IRC/Forums, and on top of that dont attend events. - Its part of the reason i stopped playing myself.

I hate to say this but, I've decided that I'm going to do the Citadel Gathering for 3 more weeks, if it hasn't improved by then I'll stop doing it. Its a lot of effort to put in for nothing and it gives you 6 opportunities to help out.

Interesting point, I've never thought about it that way but it makes sense. I know quite a few japanese and Chinese (who are the other country that you often here weird stuff about) and a lot of them DEFINITELY don't think things through.The other thing is they don't really have much of a government body that has to approve stuff like most More Economically Developed Countries have. A lot of the stuff they do would never happen in America, England or Australia because it would just be to dangerous (or expensive) for it to be allowed.
