  1. Thoughts on my new profile pic?

Nice bird. There is a guy in the foreground messing up the picture though.

Yeah, well, he wouldn't get out of the shot.

I think this picture is an analogy to all of us. Although we always desire to soar like the eagle, we are unable, and thus live our normal, quaint, human lives and photo-bomb photos in attempt to ruin other majestic things in life, as we are scorned.

*takes another hit off of the group blunt*

  2. David says it really doesn't matter what order you do guilds, but for role-playing purposes, I think the best order would be: 1. Companions 2. Thieves Guild 3. College of Winterhold 4. Dark Brotherhood Switch 2 and 3 if you feel like it. And my favorite soultrapping weapon is the Mace of Molag Bol, though you get it pretty late in the game.
  3. Gamecube: Super Smash Bros Melee, LoZ: The Wind Waker Dreamcast: Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2 C'mon, the main reason most of us bought a Gamecube was for Melee. It was the flagship game of the console. As for The Wind Waker, it was the first game I ever owned. I like what my brother says of the game, saying it is "what an open world game should be." I will agree; the world was huge, even if most of it was ocean. Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 are my favorite Sonic games, especially the latter. I always felt the 2D games to be boring and the 3D games to be either over the top or glitchy, usually both. These two games were the exception. I felt that the characters were actually good, the story was enough to keep me interested, and the gameplay, especially of the Sonic and Shadow levels, was fast-paced with just the right amount of difficulty. SA2 had pretty nice multiplayer, too.
  4. Thanks for adding all that extra info about price with THQ. I almost feel a bit lazy that I didn't add it myself, and it's information that's almost necessary to the story.
  5. The Death of THQIf you read my article a couple weeks ago, The Good, the Bad, and the Fat Guy, you would know that THQ hasn't been doing too well lately. Well, things certainly haven't, er... Improved. THQ is officially dead, and they have begun selling off their IPs. Here's what has been determined so far...[*]Sega purchased Relic for $26.6 million. [*]Kock Media purchased Volition and Metro for $22.3 million and $5.8 million respectively. [*]Crytek bought Homefront for $500,000. (A fair pair-up, if I do say so myself.) [*]Take 2 purchased Evolve for $10.8 million. [*]Ubisoft bought Montreal for $2.5 million and South Park for $3.265 million. As for the employees, it's believed that they will continue to work for the publishers that now own these IPs. With the gaming industry as unpredictable as it is, though, many of them are liable to be laid off. I wish them the best of luck wherever they end up. Potential PS3 and 360 Specs LeakedMost people predicted that the next generation consoles will come out this holiday, and this only reinforces suspicions. There are rumored specs for the next Xbox - or as I like to call it, the "Nextbox" - and the upcoming PlayStation 4. Here are the rumored PS4 specs...[*]System Memory: 8GB [*]Video Memory: 2.2 GB [*]CPU: 4x Dual-Core AMD64 "Bulldozer" (8x cores) [*]GPU: AMD R10xx [*]Ports: 4x USB 3.0, 2x Ethernet [*]Drive: Blu-Ray (duh) [*]HDD: 160GB [*]Audio Output: HDMI & Optical, 2.0, 5.1 & 7.1 channels Now, for the "Nextbox"... [*]Processor: 8-core 1.6GHz processor [*]RAM: 8GB DDR3 [*]GPU: 800MHz [*]Drive: 6x Blu-Ray ...Annnd that's all that's been rumored thus far. Unfortunately, no pictures have been released hinting at the appearance of either console. Stay tuned! Dragon's Dogma: Dark ArisenDespite the exciting next-gen rumors, we still have much more content to be released on this current generation. One such example is the Dragon's Dogma expansion pack, "Dark Arisen." Dragon's Dogma was considered one of the greatest games of 2012; it showed that, contrary to popular belief, Capcom was NOT as evil as Activision. It was my personal GotY, so I can't wait for the expansion.Dark Arisen will take your party to Bitterblack Isle, where you will encounter all sorts of new and powerful monsters. In fact, there are 25 new monsters in total. There will also be new weapons and armor, although that should be expected from an RPG expansion. You will even unlock an extra level in the skill trees. I can't wait to see what these do. In the vanilla game, your strongest spells summoned earthquakes, meteor showers, and tornadoes! How much more powerful can you get? Only time will tell. It's releasing on April 23rd in the same fashion as Dragon Age: Awakening. It will be on a disk or on digital download, and it will cost $39.99. Click here to view the article
  6. I remember getting an email telling me about how I could find a "Fu*k Friend" through their website. It somehow got through my spam filters.

  8. Aww, no sale for Okami or Full Frontal Assault? Oh well, I might pick up Nights Into Dreams.
  9. You can't beat that price, considering Skyrim offered me over 100 hours. It would probably offer me more, but I felt it was time to move on to my other holiday games after I got my platinum. However, I would recommend Dark Souls first. It's about the same price. If you have a Ps3, I would pick up Demon's Souls as well.
  10. Traag, my Gaming News thread has been posted but the actual article has not.

Also, the front-page portion of your article is just hidden while we decide if the above is a good idea.

  11. Could there be a Fallout TV show? Bethesda has filed a trademark for the name "Fallout" for a television show. Remember, however, that this might mean that they are only considering it. Many companies get trademarks ahead of time just to make sure no one else uses it. If they make one, however, it could be most interesting. Speaking of visual media, Ubisoft has apparantly been making an Assassin's Creed movie. They have just hired writer Micheal Lessie to write the script. While many are a bit skeptical of whether they can pull such a movie off, I have hope. However, I do believe that in order to make it a good movie, they should do away with the Animus. It completely ruins the story. Those who have been with us for a while may remember me getting excited approximately six months ago about a free to play Ps3 shooter known as Dust 514. I obtained a closed beta key, and it was just as good as I had hoped. The good news for you all is, the open beta is coming out next week! The beta will be released on January 22nd on the PSN Store. I highly suggest you all download it. Click here to view the article
  12. Crap, I forgot to write my article. I have my news stories ready, so I'll just right it tomorrow morning.

  13. Hmm...she seems to miss the point of the right to bear arms. The reason the Founding Fathers gave us that right is so if there is civil war, the civilians can defend themselves. Obviously, the government would still whoop us if they went to war, but that's beside the point. It's more principle than anything else. I would agree that there needs to be a bit more control on guns, though. Gangsters often drop by Virginia to get their guns registered. In Virginia, you can be a psychotic maniac, and all your psychologists could say that you are very dangerous, and you can still get an assault rifle. That actually happened at one point, a few years ago. He went in, got his gun, walked out, and had a massacre. So, yes, we do need a bit more regulation, at least in Virginia. Here's the main reason guns should be legal, though: banning them will create another black market. When alchohol was banned nearly a hundred years ago, gangs took power through their smuggling operations. Cities became very dangerious, and the government realized they made a stupid decision and repealed the law. We don't want that with guns. Because this time, not only will the gangs get more power through smuggling, but they could attack civilians who will have no self defense, with the cops 15 minutes away. That's the last thing we need.
  14. 2nd page is too hard to read. What university do you go to?
  15. Yeah, but that was because she changed her email address before we could do so.
  16. What he said. Or, you know, you could give us her contact information and we could harass her.
  17. If I knew how to add a spoiler tag, I could tell you something that would make you hate him even more. It's coming up, not long after Connor begins seriously developing his rivalry with Haytham.
  18. No month of premium membership? I want to see that gif...

    How you doingggggg

Even the kid in the stroller.
  20. At first, I voted for Deathirst, because I felt he worked hard this year and I felt he deserved at least one vote. Then, I realized that it was better to play it safe and vote for myself, so I switched it. Sorry, Deathirst, you were my second choice.
  21. Am I really going to be the first Elder Souls MotY? What an honor.

  22. His name isn't Hathaway. It's Haytham. And yes, he was a better character. He always kept his cool in situations and chose logic over ethics. I was SO disappointed when I finally got to play as Connor. I mean, couldn't we at least unlock Haytham's clothes for Connor? I loved his hat.

    FUNNY

My first playthrough was as a Dark Elf Stormcloak. I didn't even realize the irony until after the questline.
  24. With private companies getting into space exploration, I will personally donate $1 to a company willing to try and create a Death Star.
