  1. Heavy armor is better at first, but in the long run, light armor is superior. The armor cap is about 580, or 80% physical damage resistance, and the best light armor can easily reach that, without the extra weight and noise.
  2. I try to tell all my friends about this website, but unfortunately, none of them care enough to like it. Such a shame.
  3. For some reason, Bethesda thought it woul be a great idea to make the most interesting spouses male. If you were willing to go homo, there's some Argonian miner who you can rescue. He has a very unique personality, and he dual wields, always wielding a pickaxe and whatever weapon you give him. Of course, you are asking about wives. As for wives, there really isn't much of a difference between them. However, I would suggest marrying a woman who can be a follower. Why? When you get married, your spouse opens up a shop. Every day, you get 100 coins from this shop, but that's not the main advantage. No, the main advantage is that the shop still functions even when they are adventuring with you, allowing you to restock on supplies. So, who are the best followers? In my opinion: J'zargo is the best mage Aela the Huntress is the best archer Mjoll the Lioness is the best warrior Cicero is the best assassin I'm guessing you don't want to make your character homosexual, so that rules out J'zargo and Cicero. In fact, even if your character did decide to go after men, I don't even think the two are marriageable. That leaves Aela and Mjoll. Mjoll is an essential NPC, which means she cannot be killed. Despite this, I do not advocate her as a wife. Why? Because she has some guy following her around all the time. I apologize, but I don't remember his name. If you marry Mjoll, he moves in with you, too! Throw in a housecarl and your residence begins getting a bit crowded, not to mention it's annoying having the guy follow you around. You can kill him if you like, but I don't like killing NPCs unless its necessary. For those reasons, I would choose Aela the Huntress.
  4. About a month ago, Sony said that it had a big announcement to make on February 20th. Many people predicted that this would be the PS4's grand announcement; Sony was making quite a big deal out of the event. These predictions turned out to be correct, and as of today the PlayStation 4 is official! While we do not have an official price or release date as of now, we do know it will be released around holiday 2013. Many questions arise with this new generation. What will the future hold? What games are awaiting? Will Activision ever grow a heart? 5. Lot of people online right now; hopefully my Ps4 article should bring in a few more.

  7. Ps4 is announced, guys! Looks like I'll be reporting on this.

  8. I logged on at 4, but I soon realized the difficulties of playing RotMG with a laptop touchpad. You need a mouse for games like those. If I ever manage to repair my desktop, I'll play it again.
  9. It seems Blake has beaten me to the answer. As long as the disease hasn't turned you into a vampire yet, it can be cured with a potion or shrine, just like any other disease.
  10. Blexun's profile picture was my reaction to Monopoly's statement.
  11. Just did research on genetic engineering. It's very unsettling that in 30 years, I might lose my job to a superhuman.

  12. Started a new character in Skyrim earlier today. I'm trying to build him to be perfect.

      David

I actually miss Oblivion's complex leveling system for this. You could drastically improve/fuck-up your characters depending on tactics.

    2. Blake

      Blake

I prefer imperfect characters. For example, my latest Khajiit is a kleptomaniac. Everytime he visits a home or a town, he still something (usually small and petty)

    3. Blake

      Blake

The guards catch him a lot of the times and he just runs. His house's floor is just covered with random crap he stole, but he denys he has a problem. One day, he'll steal from the wrong person.

  13. And I've completed the Dragonborn quest line. The fact that you get a respec option for beating it makes it worth my while.

  14. Yeah, it'd have to be a weekend for me, preferably a Saturday.
  15. Realm of the Mad God is the only PC game I play on a regular basis. I'm in if we're playing that.
  16. Just bought the Dragonborn DLC. Not sure when I'll get around to it, but it was on sale!

  17. I bought Smackdown vs Raw 2010. While the gameplay is lackluster, the character creation tools are AMAZING. They are what add the lasting appeal. As for the Dragon Age romance scenes, I agree that it isn't that big of a deal. In fact, many people believe Dragon Age should result to full-on nudity, like the Witcher series. I would have posted a picture a bit more...sexual, but I didn't want such a picture to appear in my search history or saved to my computer.
  18. Rumored PlayStation 4 AnnouncementSony has set itself up for a big announcement on the 20th, and the smart money is probably on the long-awaited reveal of the PlayStation 4. With the long-overdue next-generation consoles expected to be released in late 2013 or early 2014, the stage is set for an official release announcement. To tease the upcoming showcase, Sony has uploaded a video they've branded the "Evolution of Playstation." It's also worth mentioning that Microsoft is expected to announce the Nextbox at this conference. Bioware and Sexuality in GamingAh, America. The land of misplaced priorities. Show people getting their limbs mutilated and it's quality entertainment, but show someone naked and it's taboo. David Gaider, lead writer of Canadian developer Bioware, will be leading a discussion about this next month at the Game Developers Conference. Specifically up for discussion are the "risks and challenges" that developers face when including content such as... Take Two Acquires WWETHQ's shutdown has been dominating the news in gaming the past few weeks, but it appears there is yet one final announcement before we say goodbye to the publisher forever. There was one game series whose new owner was unknown: the WWE series. As this was one of THQ's biggest franchises, this was a big deal, but it's finally been revealed who has the license: Take Two, publisher of GTA. Yuke's is still the developer, but Take Two is known for pushing for top-tier games, so hopefully the WWE series can pull itself out of the rut it has been in for the past few years. I feel like a comment I saw on the original story said it best: "At least it's not EA or Activision."Click here to view the article

  20. Well, at least I beat Blake. UPDATE: Now in second place, w00t.
  21. I HATE using the phone. The only thing that's ever come out of it is that I found out I'm surprisingly good at multitasking with the phone, but that's it.
  22. That's pretty much it. The archduke was assassinated, and it started a small scale war between two small countries. This was in an age where 1. EVERYONE had an alliance with someone. 2. War machines were continuously improving, and everyone was eager to see how well they worked. Needless to say, the larger countries were eager to fulfuill their alliances. One thing led to another, and all of Europe was in war. Germany was the most powerful country of the losing side in WWI, so it paid the consequences. As for my gap in knowledge, I have no idea why Skyrim is STILL $60 at Gamestop.
  23. Blake, your profile picture is incredibly fitting to this gif.
  24. It's official. Anarchy has not been on in a month.

I saw him online a month ago and then made that "Anarchy Sighting" thread as a joke, but he never returned to see it.

      :(

  25. Snuggles hasn't logged in for months. What happened to her?

    1. Blake

      Blake

      Ehh...Snuggles was a guy.

    2. David

      David

I bet that undermines the whole "I care" angle.

Snuggles was a guy? Some other member, I think it was Fergal, told me she was female. Either way, I wonder what happened to him/her/it.
