  1. Tip 20% if he arrives at a satisfying time. Tip 15% if he's a few minutes later than what you would have liked.
  2. So, are Traag and Captain Falcon the same person? I don't know why, I just have that feeling.

^^That doesn't really answer the question, but whatever.

      This status is wonderful.

  3. A. I believe it will be like a rod locked to the ground. It will simply be held up. B. As I said in A, I believe the rod will hold the wall up. C. For this, whichever side is farther sticking out from the portal will pop out, then probably fall back in and out the wall.
  4. Hmm...I thought it was a direct sequel. I guess I was wrong about that. The gameplay is what's important, though.
  5. The trailer says the main character is undead, so I think it will be a direct sequel, or at least be in the same universe.
  6. Have you heard of Dark Souls? What am I saying, of course you have! While not coming close to Skyrim in sales, it was considered a serious rival when it came to the quality of the game. Many went as far as to claim it as the best game of the current console generation. I'm undecided, but Dark Souls was nonetheless an amazing game. Imagine the surprise - and excitement - I experienced when I came across this trailer announcing the upcoming Dark Souls II. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPJaJ5ys_G0 Prepare to die. Again. And again. And again. It's not like From Software to make a sequel; they're known more for "spiritual successors," such as the transition from Demon's Souls to Dark Souls. I'm by no means complaining; Dark Souls had an amazing universe that just begs to be explored further. Judging by the trailer, the sequel looks to be a bit more story driven than the original. I guess we'll see with time, eh? I hope that Sony sees the success of this series and seriously considers hiring an in-house studio to make Demon's Souls 2, as these Demon's and Dark Souls games are truly the quintessence of what video games are all about: exploring new worlds and feeling a sense of fulfillment. This is something that many developers seem to have forgotten. Click here to view the article
  7. Are you sure you don't mean arm span? 8 feet on one arm is insane.

  9. You guys are right, I wasn't thinking that through. However, we do need to keep in mind what equipment the knight may have. For example, he might have a shield, which would buy him a bit of time. Swords have a longer reach than a gorilla's arms. He could also throw the sword and hope it hits a vital organ. I believe a mace would do more damage than a gorilla's fist, if the knight decides to wield one. Knights also often rode on horses, so we need to take that into account. Overall, I actually think it would be close, and it would come down to the variables of the environment. What it comes down to is that the knight would probably be able to do more damage, but his defense wouldn't really stand up to the gorilla's blows. It depends who gets the first hit. And honestly, I think the knight would get the first hit, since knights are 1. Human and 2. Educated Meaning that he would probably be several times smarter.
  10. If the gorilla punches the knight, he breaks his hand. If the knight stabs the gorilla, he wins. Sorry to bring you all back to Earth.
  11. You'd think Google would catch on that nobody liked their updates, so why do they keep adding them? This is almost as bad as when they replaced the 5 star system.
  12. I believe the wooden mask respawns back to its original location after a while. I think it's two weeks.
  13. I guess Traag and I have something in common. I'm sure I just bombed a chemistry exam as well. This might mean I have to retake the class. I hate myself.

Except David cant retake his Orgo exam. Thus, he may or may not be infinitely more screwed than you are.

      I can't retake it, either.

Okay so he just said he'll "probably finish it one day" but knowing him that could be years from now. He is fine with you removing him from staff, and if he ever does finish an article he will reapply (he said he might write several articles so that he has some ready to go but I wouldn't count on it :/)

On the other hand I'm thinking of rejoining the content team as soon as I'm not so busy with things and I've got a better idea of what I want to write ab...

  16. There's a bit of a mistake on this. I specifically put the video link so as to directly go to the gameplay clip on SAGNUT, but you seem to have embeded a link that starts the video from the beginning. Any way to fix this, or is it too late?
  17. I've always heard it's best to start off with the bad news, so people have something to look forward to. Therefore, let's begin with the game that non-gamers love and gamers hate - Call of Duty! Call of DutyThis should come as no surprise, but the franchise has recently achieved a billion dollars in sales. Think about that. One. Billion. Dollars. At $60 a pop, that equates to about 16.7 million copies. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, though. Remember when I told you that Modern Warfare 4 was leaked? Well, every friend who I have asked says they do NOT plan on buying it. Does this mean anything? No, but hopefully the series will begin to die down to a level more indicative of its quality. Pikmin 3Nintendo has released a rather somber announcement about the Wii U's Pikmin 3. They have delayed it a bit more, which means that the game looks to be released in between April and June. If you are bummed having to wait even longer for your Pikmin fix, just remember what Shigeru Miyamoto says about game delays... Unless it's 2012 and you can patch bugs over some darn-tootin' thing those kids call "the internets." Get off my lawn! Bioshock: InfiniteTo end things, 2K games has recently released the box art for Bioshock: Infinite. Excited?! SO WERE WE. A number of fans have expressed their disappointment over the box art, saying it looks too generic. More specifically, people are clamoring that it's nothing more than a rip-off of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. They have also released a seven second game-play video of the game. Yes, I realize seven seconds isn't much, but it's something, right? Annnd that's it for this week! See you on the 12th! Click here to view the article

  19. I'm all for it. Most of my Saturdays are free of anything whatsoever.
  20. The Elder Scrolls Online is a prequel, is it not?
  21. You've got that right. Shadow of the Colossus-Cenobia You start by entering a small tunnel on your horse. It isn't long before your way is blocked. You have to continue on foot. You enter an ancient city overgrown with lush wildlife. You begin exploring this city, as your sword told you to come here. When you reach the temple, you see a statue of a large lion at the top of the staircase. Except it isn't a statue. This battle requires you to use the ruins of the city to your advantage. Dark Souls-Ornstein and Smough You have been brought to Anor Londo so you may claim the Lordvessel for Kingseeker Frampt. You have painstakingly made your way through this dungeon. You reach the fog door, so you realize a boss battle is coming. Okay, what could it be this time? You enter, and find a gigantic pudgy man wielding a warhammer. Okay, you think, this doesn't look too hard. Then, a knight enters from the balcony. He jumps down next to his overweight pal. They both charge you. This is the ultimate test to see if you are worthy to play Part 2 of this game. Sonic Adventure 2-Biolizard Both factions of Hero (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles) and Dark (Shadow, Eggman, Rouge) have teamed up from stopping the destruction of the world at the hands of Eggman's uncle, Gerald Robotnik. Sonic, Knuckles, and Shadow are attempting to shut off G. Robotnik's machine. However, it backfires and creates what G. called the prototype for the "Perfect Lifeform." It's a giant lizard with a contraption on its back, as part of its skin. It's truly a terrifying sight. So, what does Shadow do? He says, "Leave this one to me!" He approaches the Biolizard as Sonic and Knuckles go on ahead. You'd expect a Sonic level as he races through the space station, but you're instead playing as Shadow! The Biolizard truely put your platforming skills to the test in this ultimate battle of speed and quick thinking. (SPOILER: The true "Perfect Lifeform" is created later on as the final boss, and it's about a million times easier than the prototype, for some reason.) Okay, I'll be honest, I HATED Ornstein and Smough and the Biolizard, but that's the reason I feel they were such good bosses. It's the best feeling when you finally beat them. Cenobia was just plain fun, and my favorite part of all my SotC playthroughs.
  22. You last played Skyrim...when Dark Souls was released...which was before Skyrim's release date?

    Movie of the Year

    I know that feel, bro.
  24. Okay, I tried to list every major movie release this year in the poll. I realize the Hobbit hasn't come out yet, but I was anxious to see what the community's opinions were. Comment what you voted for! Hmm...honestly, I think Ted was the best. I don't think I've ever seen a movie that made me laugh so hard. Wreck-it Ralph and 007: Skyfall are in a close second.
  25. I hear they are actually getting close to figuring out how to release them, so hopefully we will see them at some point. Will I buy them after all they have done to us? That has yet to be seen.
