1. in all honesty you really shouldn't need 84-85 perks to make a decent build for a character. For the most part you want to stay within a tree for most of your levels, depending on what you play. if you don't mind me asking, what kind of chacter were you trying? and could you list or link the perks? I'm curious to see why your Character's level is 85.
2. oh, alright, well welcome to Eldersouls and I hope you enjoy it here, a lot of the people on here are very knowledgeable about several things and can help out on a wider variety of stuff.
3. Best for Adept and Expert would be Archery, then Shouts + 1h War Axes and Restoration (aside ancients, then you are done pretty much no matter what) Also, I think I'm one of the only who play on master and I've played Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Oblivion so it isn't my first "rodeo". Everything about Master makes it more challenging but dragons on master will always probably be too hard, aside low level ones like the weaker Blood dragons or just normal dragons. Elders and Ancients and Dawnguards legendary (which appear around 71 occasionally) are practically impossibly due to the Difficulty setting which i'll explain in a moment.Bethesda's typical damage table:
[th]Difficulty[/th] [th]Player Damage[/th] [th]NPC Damage[/th] Very Easy or Novice 200% 50% Easy or Apprentice 150% 75% Normal or Adept 100% 100% Hard or Expert 75% 150% Very Hard or Master 50% 200%
4. I've done a tiny bit of research and apparently you get the most xp on the items that sell for more gold on their base. I don't know if it was there before, but you do get a little bit of xp every time you temper something. But i can recommend that after you hit 100, to mass make iron daggers after level 20 due to Banish because you can make like a 30 gold turn into like 1k+ gold. Also I haven't fully tested Jewelery, but Iron Chestplates raise from base smithing about a level per chest. I don't know about Jewelery though as far as it, and Gold, Silver, and all the Gems are rather rare and are expensive to buy.
5. Thank you very much, I wish you could see all the code and such that went into this. *sigh* looong night. If you want, you could check out what I have so far on my Daedric Artifact guide, and my Alchemy guide. I take pride in them and they tend to run through several different drafts and such before being "published".From what I've been told, I apparently do a good job with all of them, but If anybody has a new guide or something in mind, I hope that they would PM me or something because I'm going to have a laptop soon and guides are no problem to me.
6. Whiterun Guard? you should've made that your name xD
7. Then you may.. and this hurts to sat becayse it isn't good news but if it persists and you can't find a fix (I have no idea, and Dawnguard is stull relatively new due to the smaller 360 group here) then you may just need to go to the save before you even started Dawnguard.
8. ever think she may have ran? it's awful but it could've happened? PS: be a better suitor and show her some love xD
9. again, you should only have to talk to them, if he is telling you that he isn't afraid of you, try and reload an autosave of when you first entered, then exit and re-enter. Stage 1 unlocks Vampire's Seduction and will work no matter what level you are for this specific quest. it worked for me on the first try, aside not being able to acquire VS due to my stage of Vampirism, but upon hitting him with it, he should be able to be fed on, then the quest SHOULD update and tell you to either talk to Serana or tell him to travel back to the castle
10. Alright, will do when i have the laptop again *sigh* I'll have my own hopefully by the end of this werk
11. like Greg said, he should be along the road looking for you after passing the first large wall/area. if not, just keep looking around, or leave and come back
12. from what happened with me an i'll try to kill two birds with one stone:1. when fighting the moth priest and you get him down, and if you are given V's S and it doesn't show up in powers, then go to the nearest coffin and sleep until you gain it.2. After you bite the moth priest you need to tell him to go to the castle, he will go on his own, and will meet you there, he isn't actually a "follower" per-say.
13. Also, I found this DLC very hard and am still not done with it The Soul Cairn is a bitch to get through due to hordes of variously leveled enemies along with a "Secret" Boss fight that i have yet to unlock.
14. yes, arrows are craftable. Pretty sure they did this because they added dragonbone arrows as well.
15. Well, First off Dawnguard is amazing. and definitely has a wide variety of choices. The only problem, is basically to activate it, you need to wait. The Dawnguard will find you. you get in, find some coward who is nervous and what-not and asks you to walk with him. First Thoughts: Not a bad DLC, and the fact that Arrows were added (maybe due to 1.6, i don't know) makes it much better. off the bat, Base versions of Dragonbone are around +1-+5 damage to Daedric, putting Dragonbone at the top of the damage scale (though slightly unappealing to myself) Upon completing the first quest and awaking the Daughter of the Vampire Lords, you return your damsel in distress back to her father and are given a reward, and an ultimatum basically. Options: You accept his gift and become a vampire (He is a strong enough vampire to actually overthrow any Lycanthropy you may already have) Or you turn him down and become "prey" To me, on my first playthough, I decided to follow the way of Vampire Lord and to all of you who currently do not have it, your perks are as follows:
[th]Perk name[/th] [th]Perk Description[/th] Power of the Grave 50 point bonus to health, magicka and stamina as Vampire Lord Blood Healing Killing a person with a power attack bite restores all your health Uneathly Will Night Powers and Blood Magic cost 33% less Poison Talons Melee attacks do 20 points of poison damage Night Cloak In combat you are surrounded by a cloud of bats that feed on enemies within melee range Detect All Creatures Night Power: Detect all creatures, even dwarven automatons Mist Form Night Power: Transform into an invulnerable mist, while health, magicka and stamina regenerate Supernatural Reflexes Night Power: Everything slows down while you move faster Vampric Grip Blood Magic: Can pull a creature to you from a distance, and do choking damage once it's close Summon Gargoyle Blood Magic: Can conjure a gargoyle to fight for you Corpse Curse Blood Magic: Target is paralyzed
This is all so far, still need to complete more quests while i bake in my room *sigh* it's hot in here... x.x

The replies to that thread keep bumping the date in Google to more recent dates. I believe it's helped keep it #1 in Google. That and Blexun and I are getting a kick over how insanely popular that thread is, and it's a race to see how large it can get before 1.6 fixes it.

I will add that if its the notifications that are annoying you, you can go to the thread and click "Unfollow" in the top right to stop them.

I knew that, but I understand your POV on it. I'll be fine, also posted Vol. 1 of my new Blog lol.

17. well since you don't seem to care about inhabitants, it may be a good place to crash. I would recommend the one by the gloom bound mine though since you get a rather large ebony mine as well.
18. well you're playing Battlemage, little different. a Mage is only and specifically robes, doing mostly dual casting. a battlemage will wear heavy armor along with a one-hand + Magic.Battlemages are tricky because you now need to invest heavily more into actual combat skills over your magic spells, thus effectively making you weaker in the magic sense. Most battlemages end up becoming Warriors that use a few magic tricks and will slowly head back towards a shield.Skyrim's most effective battlemage is any 1h + Restoration, as Destructions level scale is garbage. In conclusion, I have no idea how to help.
19. Temperable mage armor: The ability to actually temper your robeswith iron, steel, corundum, silver, gold, orc, glass, ebony and ebony+Daedra Heart. It would add like 1/3 or 1/5 of the equivelent armor that type would have with perks. the skin for it would also add a little bit of the armor to your robes and maybe add more armor each time you temper.
20. I could get on my main in the next couple of days or something due today being my birthday and look for a hideout near to a bunch of settlements or something for you to settle in, I'll keep in mind of the Enchanting/Alchemy table. may I suggest a Dwarven Dungeon? xD
21. As I posted in the "how do i re-become a werewolf" thread, this may apply to the vamprism aspect and how they treat you:
22. I would assume your best bet for anti-vampire would be the circle of protection spell (Resto but unsure if it is spelled right) or dawnbreaker which deals light damage. Also if you disenchant the Lunar Moons Camp weapon, you get a light damage enchantment.
23. yeah, though with being an Argonian, I'm able to keep wearing whatever, unless you're aware, you may forget. but i guess if you are aware, Waterbreathing isn't much. so yeah that or with the Enchant (kind if a waste imo) you can become a fish
