  1. Broke your question up into numbers. [*]The bound weapons are Bound Sword, Bound Bow, and Bound Battleaxe. Bound Bow comes with 100 Bound Arrows. [*]If you have the Mystic Binding perk, the names change to Mystic Sword, Mystic Bow, and Mystic Battleaxe. Mystic Bow come with 100 Mystic Arrows. [*]One handed, Two handed, and Archery perks do affect them. [*]Base damages for the weapons are as follows, no including perks of course. [*]Bound Sword's damage is the same as a Steel Sword. Mystic Sword's damage is the same as a Daedric Sword. [*]Bound Bow's damage is somewhere between an Ebony and a Daedric bow with Bound Arrows being somewhere around Daedric arrows. Mystic Bow's damage is equivalent a Daedric (Exquisite quality) and the bows are roughly the same as Daedric. [*]Bound Battleaxe's damage lies somewhere between an Iron and Steel Battleaxe. Mystic Battleaxe's damage is the same as a Glass Battleaxe. So when all is said and done, Mystic Binding is really worth it. You might be fine without it if you use a bow though. Also, the Bound selection is a lot less than it was in Oblivion. Edit: Also, A QUESTION AT 3:57 IN THE MORNING?!@!@!!!!
  2. I remember this shack with an enchanting and alchemy table and a bed, but guarded by some Night Elf. That was where I would settle down when I didn't have a house.I also like the vampire cave near Falkreath (me thinks?) and would settle down there as well.

    Note on Haelga's Wild Night

You must enjoy the simple things in life. Also, the note ends with "Next time, allow me to bring the trout", which raises so sooo many questions.
  7. Lord of the Rings area mods.Mammoth mounts (they might have that already)Guns (probably have that too)A more realistic sneak systemAlpacasZOMBIES DAMNIT!Edit: Also, and what I want to see in future games, I want to make my character fat. Like a fat mage or something. How funny would that be? I hate that all the characters are either skinny or buff. Even some characters would of been better if they were fat.
  8. Well, good luck with the college and the tournament. I was also too busy with college stuff for Rs, but I still popped in every now and then.
  9. I wonder how many people join this site, thinking we are actually related to Bethesda in some way.

      Jake

I never thought about it, but I'm guessing 40% of our new members think we're part of Bethesda. These forums look very official.

Wait, this isnt an official Bethesda forum? Oh.. well..

  10. Yeah, trying out f2p armor and weapons is another thing I wish I would of done. I guess as far as f2p wars go, a couple of things come to my mind. [*]Pulling opponents around obstacles is more or less useless now. If you don't keep attacking, you'll lose your adrenaline. This can be worked around by smacking somebody while you are piling though. Again, something I wish I would of messed with. [*]Food depletes your adrenaline bar, so I guess the better strategy is to use Defensive perks to lower the damage of whoever is attacking you and deflective abilities to cause damage until you can activate rejuvenate, which will heal you, deplete your bar, and allow you to gorge on food. [*]Several people unleashing ultimates on one person at once will be a decent strategy. [*]One person being a huge game changer? Also, your girl's right nipple is in danger of being air brushed D:
  11. Read the part where you asked how to change the amount of post per page, immediately thought "I know how to do that!", spent 20 minutes looking for it, then gave up. I blame you.Welcome to the site! I recently went back to Oblivion and...well...let's say that video games in general has come a long way.
  12. There is this mini quest in Markarth where you break into a guy's house and find evidence of him worshiping Talos. I guess if you don't mind the Thalmor, then this isn't that ironic, but all my characters are usually "Imperial but screw the Thalmor".
  13. So I was digging around the forums, looking for topics talking that mentioned me a lot, and I stumbled over this gem.http://eldersouls.co...lexun#entry1663Figured it'd fill in the gaps timeline wise and remind us what happened oh sooo long ago.
  14. This is quest related, where the daedric prince (forgot her name) lifts you into the sky, talks to you, then drops you back down. Are you not hearing dialogue? Are you able to move or quick travel at all?Obviously, loading an old save will help, but give us a bit more details and I can try to help more.
  15. So I've spent a fair amount of hours with the new combat system, and I've come down to the following. Note this is a beta, so things are likely to change. [*]Shields and defense are great. Between the abilities and the huge life and armor boost, it can stand up to a dual wielder without much trouble. A well timed deflect or immortality can, and has for me, changed the outcome of a fight many times. And that leads us to the 2nd thing...... [*]Rejuvenate is over powered. You end up healing something around 2k+ health. This is an ultimate ability, mind you, but filling up to ultimate isn't that hard when using shield abilities (or really any abilities mind you, but I digress). This will likely get nerfed. [*]The combat triangle is a lot more balanced in beta than it is now. While it is still possible to own a melee-er while you range, you'll find yourself losing a lot more than you win. Unless you fight somebody lower leveled or your opponent is an idiot. [*]IF I had to choose a combat style that got shafted, it'd be ranging. Rune crossbows can only shoot up to runite bolts and there is only one one-handed ranging ultimate, though that can be worked around by bringing an extra crossbow or a shortbow with you and switch before ultimate. 2 handed bows are also good with range, though the lack of a shield and it's abiliites can screw you over. Especially no rejuvenate. God I hate rejuvenate. [*]Defenders suck. Moving on. [*]Maging cost a lot less runes. All the spells from the regular book only cost element spells, so you can cast air surge with just an air staff. Bloods and deaths are used in the ancient book. [*]The dps between 2h's and dual wielding is more or less the same. That being said, 2h's don't suck as much as I thought they would. I still prefer the dw abilities, but 2h's are pretty cool too. [*]Having off-hand versions of pretty much every weapon in Rs is stupid. I don't think having one version costing more than the other is a problem, but there is just no reason for it. Idk, I just don't like it. [*]A lot of weapons and items have been made obsolete. First of all, the dungeon prayers augury and rigour, which were basically piety for mages and rangers respectively, have been given to all players once they hit 70 pray, with everybody getting there tokens refunded. Things like restore spec potion, that special bar ring from dungeoneering, and that special bar aura have to be reworked to fit the adrenaline bar. And the worse of all, weapons that were coveted for their special are more or less shit now. having a claw for a hand isn't really cool. And getting Korasi is useless if you can't do it's special and it's stats are now slower and weaker than a whip. [*]Skill can be a key factor in a fight. I've beaten people into the 200's, and I'm sad to say I've been beat by people as low as 170, in fights. This is usually due to combat triangle situations, but I've beaten higher leveled meleers with melee and range before. Basically, the combat level system doesn't suck completely. Just my immediate thoughts on the EoC. Feel free to discuss, offer your own realizations, or just call me an idiot with a logical reason as to why.

  20. Well fuck, Brad. Here is mine all it's fail. (Most likely I typed this before the test) Sad faice. Also, is that tune up thing on that website legit or worth doing?
  21. Never heard of anything like that before. Like Unknown said, dragons aren't exactly common. Maybe you are just on a dry one. If you want, you can look at dragon lairs. There is always a dragon there and they respawn after a certain period of time. This should help you find them. [*]Ancient's Ascent [*]Autumnwatch Tower [*]Bonestrewn Crest [*]Dragontooth Crater [*]Eldersblood Peak [*]Lost Tongue Overlook [*]Mount Anthor [*]Northwind Summit [*]Shearpoint [*]Skyborn Altar
  22. Event: The Search for Blexun's Treasure Amount of People Attended: 7 Who In TRR had Attended: Blexun, Tcee, Carroll, Jugger, Torpedo stuck it out the whole way. Dragon dropped out and Tynisa was just spectating. Special Guests: My pirate hat. Notes: A lot of fun and definitely worth doing again sometime. Jugger, Torpedo, Blexun, and Carrol. Dragon ran off before the shot and Tynisa and Tcee came afterwards After getting appropriately dressed for the event, I met the treasure hunters at Falador west bank. After handing out keys, the adventure begin. Here are the clues and solutions if you have any questions or were following the topic. Clue 1: Just a short walk from Falador and I find the supposed last stop of my drunken journey. A group of four people greet me, all dressed in rather high-end equipment. Between the troll slaying, they tell me of my attempts to join in on the mayhem last night, which explains the bruises across my chest. Just like the note said, I took a peek at the number of arrows the ranger carried, added up the digits, and wrote it down. I said good bye to the mercenaries and went on my way Tcee struggling with the fountain clue Clue 2: Next, I walked west, past a bunch of refugees from a Troll torn town and through a popular fishing community. Kept following the path and I found myself outside an impressive castle, supposedly filled with knights. Even though I was a tad hung over and didn't remember if I offended them in anyway, I had enough chivalry to leave them alone just in case. Instead, I pressed myself against the fence and took note of the fountains outside and inside the castle. And, just like the note said, I subtracted the fountains on the outside from the fountains on the inside. Again, I wrote this number down and continued on my journey. Clue 3: Continued retracing my notes, down a road through a town of psychics and mages and ended up at a junction: A bustling city to the south-west, a top-notch fishing spot to the west, a guild for the nimble fighters to the east, and an old man in a shack to the north. I visited Jack, who told me how he found me chasing the chickens and stealing their eggs. After a quick apology for the commotion I caused, I took note of the number of chairs and stools in his entire house, wrote it down with the rest of the numbers, and asked Jack where exactly did I come from before messing with the chickens. He just handed me a teleport I must of dropped. Before I know it, I was somewhere a lot different. Clue 4: As I came out of the teleport, I notice the immediate change in weather. It was hot, dry heat, not helped at all by the jungle and the near by volcano. After surveying my surroundings and figuring out where I was, I walked west to the nearest town. Upon entering the biggest bar there, I was stared upon by a large number of pirates; who were either looking angrily at me or laughing like they were remembering a hilarious occurrence. After apologizing to quite a few pirates for making an arse out of myself, I ordered a Grog, taking note of the price of one. I then added the price of the Grog and the number of big windows together, wrote down the number, and went on my way. Afterwards, I hopped through a house portal, shuddered at the destruction I've caused, and took one of my portals to another town. Carroll on the verge of digging it up. Let's just say Carroll isn't too good at hot and cold games.... Clue 5: As I exited the portal, the smell suddenly hit me; a horrible mixture of dog, swamp, and death. After asking around the bar, a certain vampire told me that he saw me engaging in a drinking contest with a red demon in green clothes. Finally, I found the source of my forgetful night. After thanking the vampire, I made my way to the demon, who was only a short walk away. He was very intimidating, and maybe a bit angry that I beat him, but he told me what he knew about last night. Despite the full details, I was still confused as he told me I was wearing my prized possession at the bar. After bringing this up, the demon looked a bit guilty and confessed he stole and hid it before sending me on my way. He admitted that even he forgot where he hid it, but wrote a note just in case he had to remember. After taking the note, I visited the local food shop, took note of the number of kinds of fish he sold, even though he was out of stock, and read the demon's note on the location of the chest. BUT HE FOUND MY PIRATE HAT+EYE PATCH! Location: Hid human's hat at desert place. Don't let palace guards see when dig it up. Stand on top of hot metal burner's stairs. Then step like this: You will get these directions upon correctly pming me all the numbers you found. Take glider for celebration gnome dinner. In the end, it was a lot of fun. I learned a bit about doing this type of event and we can expect huge prizes in the future. Thanks to all the people that came.
