That's surprising, considering the amount of applications we received for Content Team. I was honestly weighing the options of both jobs but decided that Video Game Deals Moderator would be too tedious for my liking, and Content Team would let me exercise my creativity a bit more. I wonder where Blexun is? I'd think he would be interested, as well.

I always saw ACIII as the "Skyrim" of 2012. I think we need to hold events in games. Right now, I feel like the average internet user comes in, asks a question, gets the answer, and leaves. Events could get us some more long term members. Once again, I feel like ACIII, Dark Souls, Fat Princess, and Dust 514 would be good games to cover. Dragon Age III is coming out next year, and it will have multiplayer. We MUST cover that at all costs.

150 it is!

I fulfill both requirements, I would be moderately interested. I know little to no programming, though, so I guess I shouldn't take it if HTML is involved.

Yeah, on Gameinformer the record article only had 2.5 stars out of five; people were either saying he should play a proper game, do something more productive with his life, or visit a doctor to see to his health problems he probably acquired.

That is one energetic, enthusiastic gamer. Awhile back I was thinking about going for the gaming marathon world record to raise money for prostate cancer awareness. At that time, this record was sitting at 108 hours; I was planning on 120. Unfortunately my plans have been destroyed, as an ambitious gamer by the name of Okan Kaya has recently set the new mark by going on a gaming marathon for a staggering 135 hours. Okan Kaya, an Australian gamer, played the recently released Black Ops II for nearly a week straight! Taking into account the allowed 10 minute breaks every hour, Kaya's record stands at nearly 4.7 days of gaming. In other news, Nintendo has announced that they will not be developing any more Wii games. They plan on focusing all of their attention on the Wii U, leaving the Wii with only third party titles from now on. This makes sense, but other systems like the PS2 and Xbox had very long support windows after their successors' releases. This is by no means an official goodbye to the Wii, but one has to wonder how far the console will go without Nintendo's famous 1st party titles. Let's all have a moment of silence, and remember the signature words: Wii would like to play. Click here to view the article

Okay, I will admit that is pretty awesome. I do regular sweeps of the store to find free stuff, and such a feature lowers the amount of time it takes from 10 minutes to 1.

I guess I'm in the minority when I say I don't like the new layout. I just find it much harder to find what I'm looking for.

Call of Duty Revenue Surpasses Star Wars, Harry Potter
Jake replied to David's topic in General Gaming
And just like every year, a bit more faith in humanity is lost. -
That is actually quite a confusing story. I literally mean that the game case for the PC version of Black Ops 2 contained Mass Effect 2 for several thousand buyers. Bioware decided to make the best of it and have a promotion, while Activision gave the buyers the game they initially paid for.

Everything else on his face looks plausible by plastic surgery, but how did he get his eyes and teeth like that?

Does anyone even really look at these? I never get any comments. Nonetheless, it's my duty, so I'll continue to make them. Speaking of duty... A few thousand purchasers of CoD: Black Ops 2 on the PC were given a surprise; their cases contained Mass Effect 2! How this mix-up happened is unknown, but Bioware managed to rake in some good publicity from it through a promotion. Yep, the first 50 people to send in a picture of the Black Ops 2 case with Mass Effect 2 in it received the Mass Effect Trilogy for free! Who dares to call Bioware corrupted now? There was a similar issue with Lego Lord of the Rings. Many purchasers of the product eagerly openered their cases only to be greeted with a "demo" disc! Despite the disc clearly saying DEMO, the discs were actually able to play the full game. Once again though, how did this happen? As it turns out, all three of these stories are related. Bioware has confirmed that they are developing Mass Effect 4 on the Frostbite 2 engine. They say that they are trying to move the series forward without straying too far from its roots. Is the series being milked, or does Bioware just really like its creation? Only time will tell Click here to view the article

Yes, the memories. One of the most frustrating parts for me was when I first reached Lordran. I spent an hour trying to get through the Catacombs, since I didn't see any other path. I then spent an hour trying to get through New Londo, because that was the second path I saw. Only then did I see the path to Undead Burg. I must say, Demon's Souls did a much better job of hooking me, though Dark Souls was probably better in the long run.

I gave up. I can't remember the directions to the grocery store, let alone drive to the airport in a foreign country.

I'm trying to get my friends to join, but they all think the idea of a clan for single player games is ridiculous. However, I'm not talking about member count. I'm talking about people who do jobs for the site and actively add content on a regular basis. We don't have many of those, and those who do join never really fulfill their job.

EOC actually made me consider coming back, but I realized Runescape isn't my type of game. Jagex gets much more hate than they deserve; they are relatively respectable in the corrupt game industry of today.

I don't know why, but I felt like this video would be a good thing to post in this thread:

Hey Blex, you forgot Heyeyeyeayha on the article.
-
I voted for you, Blex. Honestly, the only ones who are really doing much for the site at the moment are Traag, Blex, me, and Anarchy. I wish we had some more dedicated members.

Sorry man, I voted for Blexun.

There were a few big games released yesterday; here they are! [*]Halo 4 (Xbox 360) [*]Littlebigplanet Karting (Ps3) [*]Mass Effect Trilogy (PC, 360--Ps3 version to be released at a later date) [*]Chaos on Deponia (PC, Mac) [*]NASCAR The Game: Inside Line (360, Ps3, Wii) [*]Harvest Moon 3D: A New Beginning (3DS) [*]Midway Arcade Origins (360, Ps3) [*]History Legends of War: Patton (PC, Ps3, 360, Vita) [*]Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection (360, Ps3) [*]Ragnarok Tactics (PSP) [*]When Vikings Attack! (Vita) [*]Absolute Supercars (Ps3) The above titles were released on the 6th. Unfortunately there aren't any for the 7th! Mass Effect Day Today is November 7th, which is considered to be Mass Effect day! It's supposed to stand for N7. It marks the five year anniversary of the original Mass Effect, and all sorts of deals a promotions are going on because of it. Let us remember our fond memories of adventuring through the galaxy with Garrus, Tali, and the gang. Diablo III News Blizzard plans to release an expansion pack for Diablo 3. This news was leaked through a call President Michael Morhaime had with an investor: Love them or hate them, Blizzard has always been the speck of hope within the evil that is Activision. PS3 and PC Skyrim DLC I decided to save the best for last! Bethesda's Twitter account has reported the following... You know, I hope we get these expansions by the holidays. There always seemed something so special about playing Skyrim during the winter. I've since played games like Dark Souls and Dragon's Dogma, but the magic just wasn't there. Ironically, they both have better in-game magic systems, but that's beside the point. I want to recapture that feeling, and it looks like I may get my chance. Click here to view the article
