  1. The graphics didn't really change, I believe it can now just scale to modern 1080p displays so that it takes up the whole screen. Otherwise you look at a tiny 10x10 little square that's horribly pixelated. The main thing is the Steam Workshop/Multiplayer support.
  2. It has actually become far, far worse. http://eldersouls.com/gallery/image/346-dog-rapes-chicken/ I rest my case.
  3. Get Rid Of... [*]Dual Flurry (2/2) - I just experimented at the beginning, but I'm not a fan of dual wielding at all. If it's necessary for your build's combat go for it, but yeah. [*]Stealth (2/5) - Why 2/5? Better to use 1 so you can move higher in the tree. Just buff stealth with enchantments (if necessary) imo. Muffle alone makes you pretty much invisible. [*]Pickpocket - These can all be boosted easier with enchanted armor/outfits, so they're all easy cuts. [*]Light Fingers (1/5) [*]Night Thief [*]Extra Pockets [*]Experimenter (3/3) - Useless since you can just look effects up here. Get Poisoner instead so potions are worth more. [*]Illusion - I'm a hater, but I think these are all useless for all builds that aren't illusion role-playing based. [*]Novice Illusion [*]Illusion Dual Casting [*]Apprentice Illusion - spell cost reduction is always a bad perk. [*]Adept Illusion - above [*]Expert Illusion - above above [*]Animage [*]Kindred Mage [*]Quiet Casting [*]Avoid Death - pretty meh unless you play on master/die a lot. [*]Alteration - Get rid of all of these. Magic resistance has almost no purpose at all; too few mage enemies and they rarely do anything regardless. [*]Novice Alteration [*]Apprentice Alteration [*]Magic Resistance (3/3) Add... [*]Arcane blacksmith [*]Poisoner [*]Perks I listed to remove after you have everything necessary and have too many perk points left.
  4. Your perk calculator link doesn't work. Race bonuses are pretty negligible. "Immersive" would be the main thing above everything else for me (and the whole quasi-warrior-god as a female doesn't really do it for me), but I can't speak for you. I do know that speed isn't based on male/female though, it's based on the height of the race you are (and probably pretty small too). As someone who had a mage as his main character, magicka is useless. You never have enough unless you enchant armor to eliminate the need for it completely, and at that point your base pool may as well be 0. Invest in stamina until you feel you have enough for however many moves you do in combat, then stop and put everything else into health. Health is the most important.

  13. I noticed it was added in after I read it the first time and figured Blake was just abusing his mod powers.

Jake, it's something about bacteria that grows or something in the night while you sleep. That's why people have bad breath in the morning and should brush their teeth.

    3. Blake

      Blake

I can understand not brushing at night, but not brushing in the morning? That's just nasty.

    4. Jake

      Jake

Yeah, I realize all of that Eric, but I just forget most of the time. Apparantly, I still do a better job than my 2 brothers who brush twice a day, so I've got to be doing SOMETHING right.

  16. It amazes me how many people find this site by typing the entire URL into google.

  19. Looks good for most games out there. I was just going to recommend an i5 before I saw you went with one already. I'll probably start buying parts to build one myself this summer, so let me know how it goes. Also, welcome back.
  20. I'm not really sure, honestly. I believe the only prerequisite for the quest is "Experimental Subject" and you've already done it. After completing "Experimental Subject," speaking to him again about assisting in his research should start "Wind and Sand." Are you sure you're selecting the correct dialogue option? You may have stumbled upon a bug. I don't remember doing the quest myself, but you shouldn't have to do 10+ radiant quests to get to it.
  21. My interpretation: you have the ability to reset skills back to 15 once they are level 100. This removes all your perk investments, but you also get the invested perk points back. You can then re-train the skill and obtain more overall levels through it, and thus gain more perk points beyond what you had originally.

    Turtle Rips Mouse in Half

That's fairly sadistic. Though I watched it for a good 30mins trying to pick out specific organs and what-not. It's pretty insane since its large intestine (and most other things) look to be completely intact despite it getting ripped in half.
  23. This bug is supposedly fixed as of patch 1.9. http://eldersouls.com/_/skyrim/news/skyrim-19-update-new-difficulty-no-level-cap-r128
