  1. So I'm assuming this is just going to be an event where all of us gather and recruit like mad in-game? And bring vexiliums + clan cloaks?
  2. The Clan Chat System This is just a quick guide on joining the Clan Chat and some of its features. If you need more information, just ask! You're probably wondering why I'm writing this guide - although it seems stupid, I've seen the question of how to join the Clan Chat be asked several times, so it's better to just link them to this thread instead of wasting time writing half of this out again. To join, you will need to be invited by a staff member, this requires you to meet up with them in-game and they need to actually click on you. A message will appear in your chat box which you will just need to click on and a box will come up where you can click to join. Above is an image of the Clan Chat interference. As you can see, to the bottom right, there are three buttons with coloured circles within. Orange - This is the current Clan Chat you are in. Green - This is the guest Clan Chat tab. Here you can join Clan Chats as a guest or check who is currently in that Clan Chat if you are in one. Red - Here you can check out who is banned from the Clan Chat you are currently in. This has nothing to do with guest Clan Chat channels. Now, onto the buttons to the left. From left to right. [*]The green/red buttons which has an arrow in it is for leaving and joining the Clan Chat temporarily. [*]Obviously the next button is for clan information, just click on it and the info is provided. [*]The next is the clan chat settings, which can only be altered by members with powers, such as admins. [*]Staff members can select the next button to invite players to join the Clan Chat by clicking on the button, and then the player. [*]Finally, you can leave the Clan Chat completely by clicking the next button, however, you need to be re-invited to rejoin.
  3. Well, as I said I've already done this before, just not properly. So all I need to do is update a few ranks. I'll do it today along with the Runehead update!
  4. I know we all want a super active forum to interest potential recruits in joining. But let's be honest here, RuneScape has long changed since the old times of TRR; with the release of the new CC system, generally, a CC is considered an actual clan - even though is sounds nuts, it's true.If we get an extremely active CC with people actually talking and events actually going ahead with a decent-high attendance, all our problems are solved. From there, you can be certain that our forums will increase in active anyway. What I'm saying, is to just be aware that we need to focus on the CC first.
  5. First of all, Recruit has to be in-game recruits of people that aren't official TRR members on the forums. So Corporal would be a Rebel Member. The old ranking system, before all the Admin, Owner ranks etc came with the new CC worked well. If we just bumped every rank up by one leaving the Recruit rank open to in-game recruits. Recruit - In-game recruits / Clan Friends Corporal - Regular Members of TRR Sergeant - Established / Exemplary Rebels Lieutenant - EC / Diplomat / CC Moderator Captain - Council / Warlord General - High Council Deputy owner - Clan Leader Owner - Founder Considering these aren't full time moderators and are only CC mods, sharing a rank with our empty ranks of EC and Diplomat isn't too bad. OR we could just give the mods Captain, and Council/Warlord General. Then just get rid of the H. Council rank. Oh and, I'll look into getting the RuneHead back up and running.
  6. Well, you can't say I haven't already told you about that idea before. ;)If we don't want noobs, our P2P members need to recruit for GE or outside GWD? F2P recruiting is just a fail.
  7. I don't go around hunting dragons but if they happen to land in front of my face I usually just kill them and not bother collecting the bones.
  8. So this is a tad bit screwed with the forum conversion. All the links. All the ranks. D:Then again, it still gives info on the main ranks of TRR, outside of the forums such as Council.
  9. Well, I've got to say, I'm surprised the Clan Chat is still actually rather active enough. I know before it was like 20+ with everyone talking but with our current activity, you would expect worse.Maybe if we pull the CC activity way up again, we can get events up via the CC. Even if it isn't an official event on the forums, I think spontaneous events when people are in the CC are better.Any more suggestions? I was hoping for this topic to be a bit more active, lol.
  10. After downloading and cracking Skyrim for PC, I get an error saying I need a better graphics card or something. FML.

    1. Blake

      Blake

I would make a comment, but I think the damage has been done

I wouldn't mind if it wasn't so complicated to get working in the first place, like the other games I've downloaded before. Meh, I'll just get my brother to get a graphics card or something. :D

  11. Because you can't receive any more PMs... - I attempted to update the Clan Information topic but there are too many images. Update the max number of images per post please? :P

    1. David

Fixed both issues, thanks for letting me know.

      Awesome, thanks. :)

  12. My mistake, but still nice. Oh man, that reminds me, I got that EXACT rare drop of 10 palm seeds from fire giants. Went afk for a few mins - somehow managed to die and lost that drop. Fml? The sad thing is, I was literally seconds away from picking it up when my grave disappeared.
  13. I agree with Traaginen that Werewolfs are good for lower levels because they are fairly powerful. Never tried being a Vampire, but I heard it's not great?
  14. In all fairness, those are some awesome clue rewards. Too bad your luck ran out on the fourth clue.
  15. How could you possibly love Monkey Madness? I think it is somewhat interesting but ugh, I don't know, it's so annoying, especially with so many monsters being poisonous there.
  16. Wow, this is amazing. Wish I had Skyrim for PC. :/ Whoa, this must have actually took a pretty long time to set up!
  17. Okay, done. Thanks for pointing that out.
  18. I updated Zybez and RuneHQ, I don't have access to your accounts for the others. I don't think I should waste my time updating RSOF since that was just a waste in general. I've also updated the joining topic.I'll keep a look out for any other topics that need updating, this seems to have been the right choice anyhow.
  19. Alright, sounds good. Do I get any powers there then?
  20. Okay, this will be in effect from next Monday onwards. Hopefully we'll get off to a decent start.
  21. Don't think you are allowed multiclan in TRR here anyway, at least it was that way before.Nonetheless, it's good to see that you're still sticking by us, even through these tough times and even though you are in a different clan. xD
  22. Fergal

    Hay!

Two David's! xDWelcome back mate, I really hope you decide to rejoin TRR. I'm guessing you already know much about TRR, so I won't bother waste my time telling you that, unless you want? ~Fergal
  23. As you can see, Elder Souls has an awesome dark skin. Chances are we may be merging into that forum to save a lot of money. If we don't, I believe Traaginen can just get that skin for this forum since he already bought it.
  24. I would like to welcome you into our clan; congratulations on being accepted into the RuneScape Rebelz! ____________ I. What's Required of You ____________ 1. Forum Activity As a member of TRR, it is your responsibility to periodically check up on the clan forums. This is important for many reasons, the least of which is so you can stay updated on clan news and important announcements. Many members choose to bookmark the forums - Forum Index - and simply check up on them quickly before or after logging into RuneScape. Posting on the forums is a necessary part of becoming involved with our clans community, and promotions are often based on how active clan members are on the forums. ____________ 2. In-Game Communication It might seem silly, I know; but you would be amazed at how many people join and then complain that they didn't ever know when an event was taking place. To prevent that and to get to know other members of the clan, staying active in our in-game friends AND clan chat is a must. Our clan chat is 'The Rebelz', and members are expected to be in it whenever they're on RuneScape. You are allowed to leave the chat in certain situations (e.g. checking up on a merchant chat, moving chats for an event, etc), but generally you should be in the clan chat while on RuneScape. ____________ 3. Other Tips Other great communication tools that can help your chances at a promotion greatly include IRC and Ventrilo. For information on clan channels, please click the 'Communication' drop-down menu in the news header. You can learn more about using IRC specifically in our guide. ____________ Quick Information Friends Chat: TheRebelz Clan Chat: The Rebelz IRC Channel: #Rebelz It's great to see you in TRR, we all look forward to getting to know you!
  25. Sub'd on YouTube! :PGood to see you back man, remember you were here around the time I rejoined. ;)What's your new RSN? I'll add you whenever I get on, even if that's seldom, I'll try. xD
