Very true. I think a big part of the problem, including here, was that all of the re-uploaded videos for the first several days were all 480p. Now that we're seeing HD come out it's much easier to draw conclusions.

My experiences as well. The newer HD video already makes it look better though. Obviously the graphics aren't unbelievable, but anyone who thought that a legitimate Skyrim look was going to be possible with an MMO was going to be disappointed regardless. It really doesn't look as bad as people are making it out to be.

You're too lazy to what?! I enjoyed this video. The guy that made it puts links to others in the description and before I knew it I wasted an hour watching sarcastic descriptions of random animals.

What makes this video even better is how horrible the co-host is. Screws up her lines just as bad and speaks like she's successfully pulling off the worst stereotype of retainer users ever.

One thing I do not regret.

Debuting as a new anchor. Opens with... "Gay... Fuckin' shit." ... To offend as many people as possible with a single sentence. Goes on to introduce himself as... "I'm used to, um, you know, from being from, in, East Coast." Guy is doing the news in North Dakota.

This is now a 1,300 registered members thread. Most of them are coming from YouTube, which isn't really a place known for it's great discussion and comments. I know that feel, bro.

It's important to realize a few things here. [*]This is still a CLOSED beta version of the game. This isn't even widely available to test yet, much less nearing a "shelf build." [*]This is a low quality video; I believe it's 480p. You can't really make any conclusions about the graphics from this kind of recording. [*]This is going to be an MMO, not Skyrim Online. With that said, people also need to realize that there isn't going to be a major re-work of the game/graphics engine at this point. Beta versions are generally for fixing bugs, not major changes in developmental direction. People need to temper their expectations for this game while realizing you really can't draw a whole lot from this video.

They have a pretty mature outlook on everything. Yes, as it stands there are some issues... With that said, it's a beta. It's hard to take a lot out of it when you're seeing 10mins of 480p footage.
