  7. Item: Civilization V: Brave New World Price: $11.99 So a day after Amazon posted a deal that had BNW at aprice of $15, Newegg decides to go out and sell it for $12. I wouldn't feel too bad even if you went for the Amazon, though, as they're both great prices since this is so new. They also have the Gods and Kings expansion for $9. Below is the old Amazon post. Their deal is still active as well. _____________________________ This is part of Amazon's Late Summer Sale. Anyways, this is a fairly massive expansion for Civ 5 and it normally retails at $30. I bought it for $21 or so on sale a bit after its release, and I can attest to the fact that it has extreme impact on the gameplay of Civ. It almost feels like an entirely different game, but in a good way. System: PC Retailer: Newegg Deal Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=32-205-069 Click here to view the deal

  11. Figured there would be some sort of game updates, but I haven't heard anything. Does anyone know of some interesting ESO news to come out of it?
  12. I'll personally probably wait until there's a deal on it since I have such a huge backlog, but the game looks pretty sick.
  13. The only way to become a werewolf is to progess through the companion's quest line.
  14. I'm confused what you're trying to do here by killing her and reloading. The items in her chest respawn every two in-game days, so you wouldn't need to reload or anything.
  15. You just go in to it the same way you did originally. The only caveat is that if you were a vampire the first time you went it, you'll have to be all following times as well. So if you cured yourself, you'll have to get reinfected. That's what seems to trip most people up.
  16. If the PS4 (and possibly 360) players get it included with PSN/Live... Eh, sort of annoying as a PC player if the base cost isn't less. If PSN wasn't required for online and you could just get it specifically for ESO and use all of the other bonuses, it would be a great deal. The fact that it's required regardless, though, still turns the PS4 off for me. Probably won't buy.
  17. Bonus games were just announced. Red Alert 3 - Uprising Populous
  18. $15 adds up fast though when people are used to buying games for $20-$60 and having unlimited access for life. Especially when there's going to be the normal one-time cost on top of it. I could see some console players who haven't done MMOs being turned off by it. Premium accounts are only $10 a year and it's like they're being sold by a leper.
  19. Waited 5 months for Verizon to get the HTC One after all other carriers had it. Current phone died completely 3 months into my wait. Still held out. Today it's available... No black. Ffffffuuuuuu

  20. Square Enix needs to be shut down and the licensing needs to be bought out by Bethesda. No other way to save the franchise.
  21. Yeah, you first buy the actual game and get an automatic 30 days with it. Following your first month you then pay a monthly $15 subscription to maintain access to it.
  22. In a recent interview with German gaming website GameStar, Matt Firor provided new details on the payment model of Zenimax's upcoming MMORPG, The Elder Scrolls Online. The news confirmed that ESO will utilize a traditional monthly subscription fee, ending conjecture that the game will carry free-to-play or other payment models. When asked if this older model could compete with recent free-to-play games that employ oft-despised "payment gateway" and "pay-to-win" systems, Firor responded that this was not in the spirit of the Elder Scrolls series. Firor went on to explain specific details concerning the cost of the subscription system.[*]Unlimited play for the first 30 days with the purchase of the game. [*]Following the first month you'll pay a flat fee for continued, unlimited access to the game. [*]Basic monthly charge will be $14.99/€12.99/£8.99. [*]Expect discounts if you buy multiple months at a time. Of course, there are also some additional interesting takeaways. [*]New content available every four to six weeks. [*]Graphics, engine, content, etc., are all the same between the PC and console versions. [*]There will be an open beta exclusive to the PS4 for a limited time. [*]Time frame for console betas will be discussed early next year; this probably pushes back our previous estimated release dates.
