  1. Blexun won years ago. iWyz was probably one of the missing ones.
  2. Star Trip?Think of people that were active during those months and then quit coming around. If they were still here they'd claim it.
  3. Bump. Will bump until we figure it out.
  4. I wish Crazy would just re-upload our Firefest video that was removed.
  5. Someone needs to repost that guide Blexun bought.

Maybe. We'll see how round 1 (full-out) goes first. If you have more people and higher levels then us there probably wouldn't be much point, otherwise I'd be fine with 2 rounds.

Would like more prep. Since this is our first war, we want an accurate full-out pull. So, perhaps Tuesday? Sunday would still be best.
  9. Oh, y hulo thar. My name is Traaginen, and I'm the clan Hitler.

I have to do a triathlon early in the day, and I don't know how long it will last. Could do around 6:00PM, but that would be dinner time.

  12. Great topic Muscle. I ask that all of you log on and help gather your 1k allotment of resources, so we can build and improve our citadel.

We'd want to change these things, but otherwise it looks good. No Sniper/Ranger cap (although I can assure you we're not going to come out with 5+ people doing it).Full-Out instead of matched opts (we need this since you're a 90+ clan. Besides, we haven't warred in 6+ months, so our pull will probably be less than you anyway)No attack first rule. (this isn't really important to me, but I've never been a fan of rules like this. It just seems like a pointless rule that goes wrong due to confusion on the part of 1-2 people every war.)I also would like to do the classic arena (center bounds only) since it would be better practice and there's less chance of 1 kid getting pissed, running off, and lengthening the war by 15mins while everyone searches. It's not a huge deal to me though.
  15. Clan Citadels, floating castles in the sky, have drifted over the horizon for you and your clanmates to customise, upgrade and own. Personalise the Citadel to your clan, and dare others to fight on battlefields designed using the Battlefield Editor! View the full article
  16. Free players and members can now design and keep a herald cape for free. Choose a Falador, Lumbridge or Varrock cape and then unlock a range of fabulous options by completing tasks related to that area. Owners of clan capes should also read on for some important information. View the full article
  17. I would like to welcome you into our clan; congratulations on being accepted into the RuneScape Rebelz! ____________ I. What's Required of You ____________ 1. Forum Activity As a member of TRR, it is your responsibility to periodically check up on the clan forums. This is important for many reasons, the least of which is so you can stay updated on clan news and important announcements. Many members choose to bookmark the forums - Forum Index - and simply check up on them quickly before or after logging into RuneScape. Posting on the forums is a necessary part of becoming involved with our clans community, and promotions are often based on how active clan members are on the forums. ____________ 2. In-Game Communication It might seem silly, I know; but you would be amazed at how many people join and then complain that they didn't ever know when an event was taking place. To prevent that and to get to know other members of the clan, staying active in our in-game friends AND clan chat is a must. Our friends chat is 'TheRebelz', and members are expected to be in it whenever they're on RuneScape. You are allowed to leave the chat in certain situations (e.g. checking up on a merchant chat, moving chats for an event, etc), but generally you should be in the clan chat while on RuneScape. ____________ 3. Other Tips Other great communication tools that can help your chances at a promotion greatly include IRC and Ventrilo. For information on clan channels, please click the 'Communication' drop-down menu in the news header. You can learn more about using IRC specifically in our guide. ____________ Quick Information Friends Chat: TheRebelz Clan Chat Owner: Traaginen IRC Channel: #Rebelz It's great to see you in TRR, we all look forward to getting to know you!
  18. Still 3 months left. REALLY need this brainstormed; I don't want something to die after 2+ years.
  19. Thanks for choosing TRR, it's great to have you!
  20. Guys, I think there's some serious confusion as to what is required to host an event. Our advertisement has always trumpeted out something that used to be a novelty in the clan world - ALL MEMBERS CAN HOST EVENTS. You do NOT have to be an Event Coordinator to host and plan events. EC's are simply "Event Forum Moderators" tasked with updating the calendar, closing old threads, and helping members host their own events. Obviously they need to host events themselves, but that's a miniscule part of their job next to everything else. Ideally, EC's host 1-2 of their own events per week. The rest of their time is spent helping other normal members with their events. The perfect situation would have the ET hosting about 25-50% of the clans events, and the large majority of normal members taking the rest upon themselves. (Obviously 25% would need a LARGE base of normal members we don't currently have, but it's beside the point since no one is currently hosting anything anyways). If there are 6 ET members, that's 6 events a week. That means I would expect there to be around 12-24 events at LEAST per week. That's averaging 3 a day on the high side, which really isn't difficult considering no one does shit in the summer. Three half-hour events isn't something to be frightened about; different members are logging on and off constantly, and most would probably only be able to make 1-2 of those 3 at most. Having a variety of different events in a short span of time (e.g. a day) allows people to pick and choose what events they will attend. When they're able to go to events they actually enjoy, the turnouts - that people constantly cite as their reason for not hosting - will increase.

    Recruiting

The best way to recruit people in-game is to invite them to events. People LOVE tagging along with a legit clan when we do boss hunts. There's only one problem - no one is hosting ANYTHING right now. Get some events up and running, invite your friends, etc etc. It works.
  22. Wtf? No one wants the extra power/responsibility? No desire for a sexy clan chat/forum rank that makes you feel better than everyone else? C'mon, guys. Weak sauce. o.O
  23. Seriously, guys, 5 active topics? That's pitiful. What happened to the days of 60-70+ active topics at any one time? I see people visiting the forums constantly, it's just that no one is posting new threads. Post whatever you want, I don't care how stupid or irrelevant it may be - everything has a forum it can go in. I'm challenging you to post and create new threads more; after all, what's the point of having these sexy new forums?
