  1. In order to make the best possible weapon you do need smithing and enchanting to upgrade it. With that said, I believe one of the best - if not the best - unique weapon in the game is Chillrend, which you get during the Thieves Guild questline.
  2. You'll have to be more descriptive in your question, I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you talking about a specific quest? You can add more details by replying and we'll help you. ______You should consider creating an account here. 3. I'm assuming you're talking about ice spells. Ice Spike [*]Purchased from Faralda at The College of Winterhold [*]Can buy from Farengar Secret-Fire in Dragonsreach. [*]Requires 25 Desctruction Icy Spear [*]Faralda at The College of Winterhold - Requires 70 Destruction ______ You should consider creating an account here. 4. Don't worry, you don't have a disease or anything that has an effect on the game besides what your character looks like. Assuming this is your issue: Try getting shot with an arrow in 1st person view. I've heard that removes them right away, otherwise it should eventually leave. If that doesn't work, changing armor/reloading might. ______ You should consider creating an account here. 5. That's a known bug with the quest, and I can't really offer a 100% fix. From the wiki: That will help you if you actually get stuck in the mine. So far I haven't found a legitimate fix for the bug, but I'd probably just kill the guards in the temple. There shouldn't be anyone around to see you, so you shouldn't receive a bounty. The only problem with this is that they'll just respawn when Markarth resets, but you should at least have a few days of peace.Hopefully someone else can be of more help than I.
  6. I'd just like to add that you can get a lot of good gems by mining ore with a pickaxe. If you travel to Gloombound Mine you can end up with ~45 ebony ore besides.
  7. As the others have said, you use the same button to pick things up AND to move/carry them in front of you (what I'm assuming you were asking). [*]To pick things up, you just click the action button once. [*]To carry/move items, you hold the action button down. If that's not what you were asking, feel free to clarify by replying to this thread. ______ You should consider creating an account here. 8. Yes, you have to show up for the marriage at the correct time. Between "dawn and dusk" essentially means anytime the day after you schedule the wedding with him I believe. If you miss your ceremony, you can have it rescheduled by talking to Maramel. If you want more information on Marriage, our guide is located here - http://eldersouls.com/page/index.html/_/guides/skyrim/how-to-get-married-in-skyrim-r16 . 9. You just need an Attunement Sphere to activate the machine. You can get these from Septimus Signus at his outpost, North of the College of Winterhold.Pretty sure that dungeon leads to Blackreach, which is a huge underground area with, well, a lot of stuff.
  10. Everyone is attacking you because you are a stage 4 vampire. In order to prevent NPC's from attacking you, you're going to need to feed on a sleeping NPC to revert to stage 1. After getting back to stage 1, you will be able to complete a quest and cure yourself of vampirism. We have a thorough guide on vampirism. You can read that for the specifics; if you have any additional questions after that, feel free to ask them here!______You should consider creating an account here. 11. If you're asking how to get it, the fastest way at low levels to achieve it is to get it through Smithing. We have a pretty good guide here on leveling it if you're interested.
  12. The house becomes available for purchase during a quest for the Jarl of Riften. The quest can be started at the Fishery outside Riften; look for an Argonian woman (Wujeeta) working inside the Fishery. However, you need not contact her at the Fishery to start the quest since she can be contacted outside work hours to initiate the quest as well.Note that the Jarl will not even mention buying the house until you have completed the associated quests Helping Hand, The Raid and Supply and Demand, and also built a reputation with Riften citizens by doing a few general quests for the people of the town. Honeyside must be purchased from her steward Anuriel in order to complete the quest, and receive the title Thane of Riften.Alternatively, if the player gives Riften to the Empire during Season Unending, Honeyside can be purchased from Hemming Black-Briar without having to complete or begin the quests for the Jarl.______You should consider creating an account here. 13. Haha, that's what's so great about speculating on ridiculous unfounded rumors. I imagine that it would be set in the present TES 5: Skyrim time, which is ~200 years after your adventures in Oblivion. I don't know if I really like the idea or not, though. Seems like nostalgia for the sake of nostalgia. It's not really a stretch that they would do this as DLC since Shivering Isles was pretty damned big. They also said something along the lines of the DLC for Skyrim being more substantial but in lower number than past games.
  14. The main DLC will be the same for every platform I imagine. If it's true (not saying it is), they're not going to be packing Oblivion's game into Skyrim or anything. I'm sure that it would be like "Visit xxxx city" or something.
  15. It depends, most people grow bored of it (ha, yeah right) long before it's completely finished. There are literally hundreds of hours worth of exploring and quests in the game. If you're talking specifically about the main quest (which is nothing more than the story behind the dragons), I'd guess it's about 8ish hours. Again, it really depends on the player though and there are dozens of other major quest lines (several quests that happen in sequence with eachother).______You should consider creating an account here. 16. What would you guys like to see for DLC? There have been rumors involving fletching (ability to create arrows) and the ability to travel to Morrowind and/or Cyrodiil based on PC files. What do you think?
  17. Up to where I'm at in the game (about 60 hours and most major quest lines complete) I've actually yet to use a horse. I just used them once on a friends file and couldn't be assed to ever bother with them again.
  18. Hello, welcome to the site! If you ever need anything feel free to let me know. :)

  19. Unfortunately you're only able to have 1 wife. Even if your spouse dies - or if you kill her - you are unable to remarry. Just one spouse, ever. We also have a pretty good Skyrim Marriage guide if you're interested in more information.
  20. Yeah, the "firewall" message is just a protest of a potential bill called SOPA, as I said. It will be back up tonight or tomorrow, so you'll have to check the site then.Welcome to ES btw.
  21. I don't know of any fixes for that glitch off-hand, you may have to resort to trying to continue it after loading a previous save.http://elderscrolls....gged_Crown#Bugs might have some more information, but it's currently down since it's protesting SOPA. It will be back up later tonight or tomorrow though. Let us know how it goes. If you find a fix before us, let us know so that we'll know what to tell others. I'll look into it a bit more and hopefully I can get back to you with better answers a bit later.______You should consider creating an account here. 23. Good guide, we should combine all of the exploits into a big article and then add it to the main page.I've read that this works with companions/followers too.
  24. Remember to edit in your entire question into the main body where the instructional text is. I'm not quite sure what you're asking of "Dorian of Solitude," so I'll just provide the following: Dorian is a pirate on a ship (called the "Red Wave") often docked in Solitude. The ship's captain is Safia, who is involved in the Dark Brotherhood quest line.______You should also consider creating an account here. 25. Alright, I added the description and copied over the original post. Let me know if the changes carried over.By the way, are the bullets for general tips all supposed to be white? There's nothing wrong with it, just wondered if that was an unclosed tag since when I originally promoted it to an article there was one around there that I took out.
