  1. Yeah, I've finally updated the forum. Yes, the skin was lost. Yes numerous mods have been lost (although nothing you will notice). However, there's a great deal of added functionality... Everything is now... instant, and you won't have to reload pages when doing things like posting. This is also a pre-emptive move so that we can potentially transfer our forum. Don't worry, this isn't going to be as tragic as the ones in the past where we actually lost things. More information coming shortly (maybe).
  2. Honestly the race you choose really doesn't matter, as your skills will all be damned near maxed by the end of the game anyway. You could make slight arguments for which has the better power, but with the exception of Breton they're all pretty much useless and most players don't even use them. At least that's been my experience. 25% magic resistance is the best power (depending on your play type), but even that isn't really worth choosing a Breton over something you'd rather play as.
  3. How did you play DA2 7 times? I wasn't a fan of that game at all. Was extremely disappointed after the first one.
  4. Hey man, long time no see. This site is based on RPG's (focusing on Skyrim atm since that's what everyone plays), so I'm sure you'll enjoy it as it grows. TRR may even move to a sub-forum with a password here anyways, so two birds with one stone.

    Sad Soldier is Sad

    I had a sad.
  6. This is exactly what I thought.

    Foul Beast!

    Stop right there, criminal scum.
  8. 1. I'm pretty sure that the percentages are additive. I'm just making an assumption, although it's rather safe, since that's how other percentages are stacked in TES games. For example, the "Fortify Magicka" enchantments can stack four -25% to get -100%. There are numerous other examples as well.Note that there is a cap on Magicka Restistance at 85%; that's as high as you can go. According to the wiki, Bretons can actually reach this without even having enchanted armor: Racial Bonus (25%), Agent of Mara (15%), Magic Resistance 2/3 (alteration perk; 20%) and the Lord Stone (25%).2. Magic Resistance should work on dragon breath. However, you'll probably be able to get fire/ice resistance to higher percentages alone.3. Later in the game, you'll likely be nearly hitting the armor caps of 567 regardless of whether or not you invest in those perks (especially if you boost the stats like one of our guides mentions). It really just depends on whether or not you want to hit the cap faster at the expense of your perks. I wouldn't invest any into Heavy Armor for sure, just because that will hit the cap relatively soon anyways. Light Armor, maybe, but again, only if you don't have anything else you think your perks would be better spent on.4. The fortify enchantments could help if you don't want to spend your perks, and the solution wouldn't be permanent if you change your mind and want a different enchantment. It's hard for me to say since I'm not sure how much damage you're taking.
  9. Bought Skyrim for $60 on release day knowing I couldn't play it until Christmas since I was away at college. Totally worth it anyway since I got to look at the box.Pre-ordered dragon age 2 based on the amazing 1st one. It sucked balls, and I didn't even begin it until it had dropped to like $30 in stores anyway.
  10. I'm pretty sure daedric has an intimidation bonus during dialogue that dragon doesn't have. Can anyone confirm that / how much it is?
  11. It only lasts something like 180 seconds. At the end of the quest line you'll be permanently cured, so it's not like it's a hugely permanent thing unless you purposefully neglect to finish the quest.
  12. Enemies will level with you up until about level 50, so it probably won't get a lot easier unless you unlock some type of new combat-aiding skill. I did it after I got master Conjuration w/ zero cost, so I had summons to help me out. It's supposed to be hard, though; it's one of the last main-quest missions in the game. Unless things are absolutely ridiculously hard, just try to change up your strategy a bit and attack it from a different angle.
  13. Check out the bugs section on this wiki page. I'd be of more help, but you know your situation better than I, so you should be better able to find if any of those match your exact issue. If you already have control of the reach via the Season Unending quest, you shouldn't have to take over Hjaalmarch. Is it actively telling you that Hjaalmarch is your next objective? If not, what is the quest directing you to do?Oh, and is your game updated to the current version? v. 1.4 was released for the consoles on 02/09 and I think it was supposed to solve some issues related to Season Unending.
  14. I actually haven't finished it yet, but thus far it's probably the worst quest line. Meh.

    Brovahkin

Really? I thought for sure this was all you.
  16. You could try completing the main storyline, but as far as I know that doesn't reset the control/factions in each region, so I doubt that will fix the issue. I'll look into this and get back to you a bit later, I'm running late at the moment.
  17. First let me just say that I don't have a ton of experience with console commands since I don't play on the PC. Is Taarie targeted when you're inputting those commands? Also, try doing them in the following order: [*]addfac 19809 0 oraddfac 19809 1 . "addtofaction" can also be used in place of addfac. [*]setrelationshiprank <actor> 4 Hopefully that will cause marriage dialogue options to appear. I've checked the wiki's, and they both mention that there is a chance that this is an unfixable bug. If the console commands don't work, you could try reloading the previous save and attempting to marry her then (though I'd keep the updated save in case it doesn't make a different). Let us know if it works, if not, we can see if there's something else. ______ You should consider creating an account here. It comes with several benefits, and also makes it much easier for you to post questions and answers. It's completely free!

    Bring it!

What if the dovahkiin is just a mentally challenged adult whom all of the towns-folk give mundane tasks to so he stays busy?
  19. Hello, welcome to the site! Feel free to let me know if you ever need anything or have suggestions. :)

  20. The locations you get the Imperials/Stormcloaks to trade during Season Unending are automatically switched over, they're not part of the liberation quests.
  21. I would like to welcome you into our clan; congratulations on being accepted into the RuneScape Rebelz! ____________ I. What's Required of You ____________ 1. Forum Activity As a member of TRR, it is your responsibility to periodically check up on the clan forums. This is important for many reasons, the least of which is so you can stay updated on clan news and important announcements. Many members choose to bookmark the forums - Forum Index - and simply check up on them quickly before or after logging into RuneScape. Posting on the forums is a necessary part of becoming involved with our clans community, and promotions are often based on how active clan members are on the forums. ____________ 2. In-Game Communication It might seem silly, I know; but you would be amazed at how many people join and then complain that they didn't ever know when an event was taking place. To prevent that and to get to know other members of the clan, staying active in our in-game friends AND clan chat is a must. Our clan chat is 'The Rebelz', and members are expected to be in it whenever they're on RuneScape. You are allowed to leave the chat in certain situations (e.g. checking up on a merchant chat, moving chats for an event, etc), but generally you should be in the clan chat while on RuneScape. ____________ 3. Other Tips Other great communication tools that can help your chances at a promotion greatly include IRC and Ventrilo. For information on clan channels, please click the 'Communication' drop-down menu in the news header. You can learn more about using IRC specifically in our guide. ____________ Quick Information Friends Chat: TheRebelz Clan Chat: The Rebelz IRC Channel: #Rebelz It's great to see you in TRR, we all look forward to getting to know you!
  22. We're a very laid back clan; no events are required, and you're certainly not going to get involved with the pixel-junkie flame-wars that are common with the top 10 clans. I won't go into a personal review as I'm quite biased as the Founder, so I'll just offer some advice for your clan search. I really recommend just staying in a clan's IRC/CC for a few days before making a decision. That's usually all the time it takes to get a good feel for the clan's direction and the quality of its members; you should know rather quickly whether or not you're in the right place. It's refreshing to see someone post a thread such as this looking for reviews before making a decision.Hopefully you'll choose TRR. If not, good luck with your search.
