  1. No problem, glad to know it worked out. :)Feel free to ask if you have any further questions, or you can delve into the conversations in the "Skyrim General Discussion" forum.
  2. Yes, you can marry Lydia. However, there was a bug that prevented the dialogue so in order to get the option you need to download and install the latest patch (v1.5).
  3. Hello, welcome to the site! Let me know if you ever need anything or have suggestions for us.

Thanx. Lovin it here so far. Very useful and fun. Skyrim is such a great and huge land/game, its awsome that there are forums to help and learn and bs/ chat about the game.

  4. My grandmother was set to marry billionaire and CEO of Walt Disney Mike Eisner (before he was all that). She dumped him right before it for my middle-class grandfather. In the book he wrote he devoted a few pages to bitching about her and the whole thing. Hilarious yet tragic.
  5. One response? I thought this topic was sure to get suggestions since Dawnguard is going to be displayed at E3 in a few weeks. On the cape thing - it was a mod in Oblivion and it was just really well done and bad-ass in general. Looking at Daedric armor and everything after it made everything look really half-finished.
  6. TRR is the RuneScape sub-section of a gaming community. Right now, Skyrim is our front-end just because when we launched that's what practically everyone was playing (TRR also moved after said Skyrim launch). We'll eventually (soon?) move the Skyrim forums to it's own sub-section just like TRR (and the Diablo 3 shell that's not being used at the moment). TRR has its own index/landing page and everything, though, so it's really not any different besides the initial confusion of some original members. Why did TRR move in the first place? It's because no one would donate for hosting besides Brad.

  8. Can't beat that if you've been living under a rock and don't have it. The following link leads to a page where you can select your platform (PS3/360/PC), even though it may initially say PC. Skyrim for $40 - PS3/360/PC
  9. In all fairness: http://eldersouls.com/trolls/HEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYAA/ I'm personally at a loss on what games to move in on, though. CoD 7 or whatever the hell BLOPS 2 is will be big, but isn't really in our niche since so far we're RPG if anything. Diablo III is already out so we're a bit behind the ball there, and I'm skeptical of our impact since we only have 4-5 players at the moment.
  10. [media=] Seriously. Beat that. You can't.Just kidding.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNIVpMXHqlk
  11. Haven't heard of any of those besides Flower (I think?)? I s that the artsy game where you're the breeze collecting petals? Maybe I'm just stoned. Is Festival of Blood DLC?
  12. TRR's Joining topic has 3k right now, and on the old site was like 15k+. I'm 99% sure that that Skyrim Water topic is leading right now with over 5k+ views, which was actually the topic of the blog I literally just finished.
  13. User Feedback Poll Sappy Explanation Here at ElderSouls.com we care about you, the user. This is a fan site with user generated content, after all, and we wouldn't be going very far without any of you. That's precisely why we're having a feedback poll on this blog to get some answers on ways we can improve the experience here for everyone. It's a pretty basic poll, so if you have any additional comments or suggestions you're encouraged to leave them below in the comments (or make a new thread if they're substantial). Sappy Emoticon Providing a 1,000 Word Synopsis of Our Relationship Let's keep it PG for the kids. ES Statistics with Google Analytics Did you just do that on purpose? What? You know, rhyme with the orange title. Since when did you start becoming a bolded alter-ego instead of a sub-title? I don't know, man. I was just wondering. Well maybe you should stop doing that and get back to work, none of those headings make any sense... And yes. Okay. Chart? Chart. Visit statistics for ElderSouls.com from April 10th to May 10th. My favorite part is the 60% drop off after April 22nd. Who asked you, anyways? But yeah, I don't know. Google released a new search algorithm around that time and it wasn't particularly fond of us. On the bright side, we've bounced back rather nicely in recent weeks. The far left side of the graph was pretty typical before that random huge increase that occurred after April 13th. The cause of that, you ask? Well... ElderSouls.com is the #1 search result for the bug. A Moderately popular thread with 5k+ views in a couple of weeks. The Google gods smiled lovingly down upon us simple mortals, and blessed us with a #1 at best, high at worst search ranking for that specific problem. We're really important now, apparently. I want to know more about that giant, sexy peak that happened on April 22nd, dammit! Okay, okay. Calm down. I'm not sure if you're my schizophrenic anti-personality or a demanding Blexun on the other end of an IRC conversation. Statistics for April 22nd, 2012. Teh best dai evar (for now). Yeah, I don't really know. Can't complain about those results, though, even if they were only a one-time thing up until this point. See my Introduction to Site Metrics entry for more details on what, exactly, the hell it is any of that Latin means. Few things to take away from this... That bounce rate is horrible. Hooorrrriiiibblle. It means ~70% of people are landing on their first page and leaving before navigating to a second page on this site. I think that's more an ailment of our situation (forum based on Gaming) opposed to any serious indication that something's going wrong. 700+ individual people visited the site on that day. You can't tell from this chart, but Elder Souls is exponentially more popular every Sunday compared to the other days of the week, and surprisingly always has a decent output Monday. Just thought I'd throw that out there. That is a pointless and poorly place pie chart. Well, enough of statistics. Due to popular demand (people bitching on other blog entries when it's not included), I bring you what you've been waiting for... Hilarious Search Queries Tiger Sharks Yeah, seriously. I don't know. All those searches get pointed to TRR's Achievement of the Week thread where the off-topic conversation of the century occurred. Mother Fuckin' Tiger Sharks? People Google that? Bitches be serious? Apparently. TRR actually made it to the very 1st page of Google's images with that beauty (and the rank is rising several per day...). The funny thing? It's not even a Tiger Shark... TRR's Tiger Shark. I guess when school kids across the country don't understand why their pet Tigers aren't sharks and die in the water, they can blame us for redefining the fish (animal?). Seriously, we're the ONLY site on the first page that isn't a legitimate Tiger Shark. Cheers! Well, it's not porn. I'm surprised. Yeah, but don't regain your faith in humanity just yet. I didn't show you any of the "Elder Boobs" search results that have been popping up. Want to see the types of images we're competing against? What?! No! I'm out of here. Fair enough. Make sure you come back as title headings next time so people don't think I'm crazy. .... .... Hello? .... Well, looks like he's gone, and my hands are starting to hurt. So... Until the next entry! Remember to leave comments and suggestions below!
  14. Oh. No, there's no way they'd step into that shitstorm.

    Diablo III

If you're talking about this, then I don't know what I'm doing with it either. Was going to turn it into a TRR/RuneScape-like Diablo section... but I'm leaning towards scraping that idea since I don't think Diablo has that big of a following to where we'll get our own active group going.
  16. You can have as many characters as you want. Just start a new game on the main screen. As long as you don't save over your first character's save file with the new game (or delete it), you will be able to have both characters. Note that they will be under different save files and "universes" (e.g. quests completed by one character will have to be completed by the new one).
  17. Disagree. Oblivion's story was long but fairly redundant; in all fairness I don't even remember doing 99% of it (this can really be an argument against my credibility as much as the story failing). You also have to remember that it centered around the Emperor's son, and you were more or less a role-player doing various fetch tasks for him. I always put the main quest off in every character I made and instead did the DB or Mages Guild quest lines. The final battle in the capital was also a total let down for me.Skyrim is definitely short, there's no denying that. But with Sovngarde, traveling back in time with an Elder Scroll, and battling dragons along side ancient heroes... Out does the Oblivion main quest.

Truer words have never been said.

  20. BF3 was never even announced as officially being under development, and there wasn't ever any official word on it either way. That didn't change once it was cancelled, unfortunately.
  21. So is this thread an "About TF2" article that can be promoted?
  22. Yeah, they're definitely not releasing this game. There's a small chance several of the years down the road, but even then they'll just completely remake it and scrap the near-finished game that Free Radical apparently already had.

NO, IT'S THROUGH A HIDDEN PORTAL SOUTH-EAST OF MADAGASCAR.
  24. I'm not sure if you guys played BF 1 or 2, but they were fantastic games. Easily the best of the hundreds of Star Wars games (many of which were complete shit). Anyways, after many years waiting for the third installment of the series, some information is finally coming out on what exactly happened to the game.It was in development for years with Free Radical (who created GoldenEye), but after a management change at Lucas Arts (the publisher) they were set out to dry and it meant the end of BF3 as well as the entire developer (Free Radical). Some of you may remember this leaked footage, which many thought was a hoax. Turns out it's legit... Notice how you can go back and forth between land battles and the space battle.GameSpot article: Some random Free Radical employee even made this video about it...[media=]http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=NDS6Ls0V2zQ
  25. Did you type and format that all yourself? I was wondering what was being posted here after an hour...TF2 is a game everyone is always talking about around me, but I've never played it personally. When was it released? Might be something for me to try after my backlog of new games is gone.
