"2/3 of the hand-crafted content and quests are available to you after you hit the level cap of 50"
Epic strat, bro.
-
Anyone have additional details? Why is it up and forhow long?
-
If Destiny, The Division, Deep Down, or EQ Next are more fun I'll play those instead. I want a more engaging combat system in an MMO... I thought ESO would deliver, but it seems very standard ATM.

4am PST next sunday... I am prepared!

Some abilities are only based off character level and ability level. These are usually best used as supplemental abilities to a Stamina build rather than using them as a Magicka build. Because they cost MP you would be spending your main resource on something that doesn't scale, and you could be spending on an ability that scales instead.
Summons seem to be one of these cLvl and aLvl only abilities. CC effects and such do usually last longer as you rank the ability up.
Sorry if I didn't address all your questions, my girlfriend's yelling at me to get off the computer.

Interesting... They have them throughout all of Tamriel as well as all of them in Cyrodiil. So, no matter where you level you can find your desired Mundus.

THIS IS BAD ASS!!
And just to be fully prepared, we are adding overflow servers in the event we get even more players on day one than we are now forecasting. If player demand overwhelms our planned capacity and a queue has to be formed, we will offer waiting players the option to begin playing right away on an overflow server. The overflow server is meant to be a temporary place where you can begin your adventure as you normally would – gain experience, items, achievements, etc. The character you create and everything gained as you temporarily play on an overflow server will transfer back with you when you log in the next time on the main megaserver. While you’ll still be able to group on the overflow servers, other social features like PvP or access to your friends list and guild will be unavailable during that play session – but we want to offer this option to allow players to get into the game quickly, create a character and start to enjoy ESOwithout delay. This way, you can log in and play, and when the queue shrinks, you can switch to the megaserver and continue to play with the character you created.

I don't think heavy/light attacks even use up resources. just the activate abilities (which cost magicka)
It's true they don't use the resource, but the damage is multiplied by the stat on top of the weapon damage.

Your racial Motif's will be worth more than the 3 normal ones for the faction, and you don't need those motifs so you can trade/sell them without worry.
It's a small bonus, but noteworthy. Motifs seem to be some of the more desirable sales/trades in the game.

Staff weapon damage is based on Magicka, not Stamina. At least this is what our tests showed a couple betas ago.
-
Those are cool and all... but I feel like a lot of the information will become outdated within a few months of release.
-
I drew mine Asian... and that's way cool!!!!!! HAHA!

If you've participated in a previous beta then all you have to do is login and let the launcher patch (40 meg or so, quick fix). You can use an existing character or create a new one. For this event only, you can also play the Imperial race and unlock the vanity pet.
If you've never been invited to a beta test event before, then you'll have to acquire a key. EOS says they're sending out "more" invites but their announcement didn't say how many - although, since this is another stress test and their last planned test, I would imagine it's going to be large number of new invites. Everyone who played the last beta received an "invite a friend" key, so there's a good chance someone on this forum has a spare key laying around.
You probably will not have access to Imperial Race unless you bought your game from ElderScrollsOnline.com, because people who bought at GMG or Gamefly didn't have access to the Imp. Ed. things that were available last beta.

The amount of Daggerfall disturbs me. Just means my predictions are correct.
Well, just one of the reasons why DC is so much better in the AvA -- 100% of the healers here are going DC! ;P

IDK why there's not just open beta up to cLvl17 content... game's 3 weeks 'til out.

I've found it's actually much better to craft gear than to find it. For the level it's very noticeably better. It's about 1 "grade" difference. A green "found" piece is even worse than a white crafted piece.
Also, just to clarify; when you upgrade a "found" item through crafting it doesn't become as good as the crafted equivalent does... So even if you upgrade a "found" piece to legendary, the legendary crafted item will be better.
However... about the "unique enchantments".... I personally believe that "found" gear is actually better. EDIT: Just maybe not on Weapons, because those modify your damage based on their damage..

The quest-giver indicators have also been removed. These updates just keep getting better and better.
Just on the HUD or even over the NPCs?? This'll make questing annoying as hell..

The only reason for heavy armor is -20% block cost, which is only better for PVE. Immovable's great for PVP--but you can use it no matter what armor type you're using, and it barely gets better with additional heavy pieces. Honestly, if they made the duration increase like 25% per piece of heavy it still wouldn't be worth going heavy instead of light.
I'm not sold on a light armored "tank type" character at all.
...
Even PVE tanks I've seen are in light. It's truly that bad! XD
Using Inner Fire is better as a taunt than Puncture, because not only is it ranged but you save St for blocking by using MP to taunt. It's really fucked atm. =X

You could also still cap your weapon attack damage as a NB, even with siphoning strikes activated. It seems very easy as a NB to cap it as well as haste/flurry for almost 50% attack speed bonus.. Makes for sick weapon attack damage.

Hey guys,
Whilst going through more build-making theorising, as always, I realised that both these moves come with the description "recovers a total of magicka" or "recovers a total of stamina".Now because both are lvl 42 skills in their respective skill trees, I have not been able to actually test this.So does anyone know if this tooltip description actually means that your character recovers an amount equal to their total magicka or stamina over the duration of these abilities? For example, a NB with 1700 total stamina who casts Focused Attacks will then recover a total of 1700 stamina over the next 20 seconds (which is the skill's duration). Thanks guys.
I think it does. It's still only 1.5% avg per ability/attack, if I'm remembering it correctly. Still means they're most efficient class all-around for only a sacrifice to basic weapon attacks.
-
So even on rouge builds you think light armor will be better?
Not if you're focusing on physical damage.
-
I don't even know what this shit is.
Those "abilities" aren't part of any single tree or anything... Just ignore that wikipedia and look at http://eldersouls.com/elder-scrolls-online/skills

The shields in this game are fucking sweet!
