You play Spiral Knights? I love that game, but I had to quit because it started lagging every 5 minutes thanks to my crappy computer.

I agree that Melee is a better competitive fighter. The problem is that I became so used to Brawl's mechanics that it became hard to play Melee, since my technique involved mid air smash attacks. Mid air smash attacks are harder to pull off in Melee.I was thinking that at one point two of my friends and I could form a competitive gaming group. One is good at action adventure games, one is good at shooters, and I'm good at platformers and RPGs.

I'm fine with that. Accidents happen.Also, I actually enjoyed Black Ops quite a bit. I certainly didn't love it, but Treyarch knows what they're doing. I'm glad to see it's outselling Modern Warfare 3, which was a rehash of Modern Warfare 2, which was a piece of crap to begin with.

I remember downloading a free game that had reviews like that. It turned out to be five minutes and ended with me falling off a cliff. It turns out, the reason people loved it is because you never know what the heck is going on. I can't remember the name, though.

So I got to play the Dust 514 Beta. I would write an article about it, but it would break the terms I accepted at the start screen.

It says I can't share my beta experience. I don't know why; maybe they don't want people getting first impressions from a beta. I did thoroughly enjoy it though, and wish I could share it. I'll see if I can find a loophole.

I'm more of a co-op man myself, but I can really get into the zone if I'm good at a game, such as Modnation Racers and Dark Souls.

*clap* This part kind of reminds me of myself. I quit Runescape as well, but later joined Elder Souls, and am now Content Team.Well done, Blexun. You set an example for everything I want to be. Right when I think I've seen everything you have to offer, you come up with something new that keeps me entertained for a couple of minutes. I hope to one day be as influential and well known as you, but I know it will never happen.

Well, while it is overrated, it does deserve some respect. It built upon Goldeneye to make FPS games playable on console.

It's an idea, but the problem is that we focus on RPGs. RPGs probably have the lowest percentage of multiplayer games. However, I would like to see us participate in games like Mass Effect 3, Dungeon Defenders, Fat Princess, Two Worlds II, and Dust 514. Of course, of those games, I only have Dungeon Defenders and Fat Princess, but I plan to get the others.

Yeah, I actually meant the Modern Warfare games. I liked the single player CoD games and the Treyarch games, while still overrated, aren't that bad. Modern Warfare 2 was one of the worst games I ever played.

Ok, cool. I hope it gets some traffic, because I want to see other people's opinions. Not just on the Easy Mode, but on my comments about level scaling.

That's in JRPGs, and I'm okay with that. In WRPGs, the enemies always scale to your level to keep it challenging. A great example is in Dragon Age: Origins. The Deep Roads is meant be the hardest area, but you can go there at the beginning if you want to, because enemies are scaled. I feel that if the enemies scale to your level, what's the point of leveling up? I still loved Dragon Age Origins, though. Skyrim does it a bit better, since it scales the first time you enter an area, but then locks the levels in place.There are still some scaling JRPGs and non-scaling WRPGs, but in general, that's one of the differences between the Japanese and American/Canadian developers.

I have all the Ps3 trophies on both games, and while the Demon's Souls trophies were harder, Dark Souls was the harder game. There were even a couple moments with cheap deaths, so be prepared for Sen's Fortress, Anor Londo, and Tomb of the Giants.And to Blexun, enemies leveling with you is the bane of RPGs.
