  1. If the other TES games are any indication, being the Emperor is a sure-fire way to get killed with spectacular consistency. People are talking about how the Emperor bonuses should make the player a god amongst men, but I think it would be more appropriate to have stat adjustments like "-90% Health" all across the board.

I've been staring at this for months now on the index and I still don't understand.
  3. Amazon has Skyrim on sale for $29.99. I don't think the console version has ever been this cheap other than on a $20 Black Friday lightning deal. Update Amazon has temporarily ran out of stock so the default seller is now someone other than Amazon who isn't offering the $29.99. However, you can still select Amazon and get the $30 price by clicking on "Amazon" under "More Buying Choice" on the right.

  5. Game.co.uk now has a bundle they're calling "The Elder Scrolls History Collection" for £19.99. That comes out to $32.56 in U.S. dollars. It contains the following... Morrowind GotY Oblivion GotY Deluxe Skyrim w/ All DLC (Dragonborn, Hearthfire, Dawnguard) This isn't as great as a few of the recent deals, but it's still a good price if you missed out on Skyrim for $16.27 / Morrowind $5 / Oblivion $6.25 earlier.

  7. Game.co.uk has the Skyrim collection (Skyrim, Hearthfire, Dawnguard, and Dragonborn) for £9.99, which comes out to $16.27 US - the cheapest price yet. The collection is equivalent to the Legendary Edition, except it comes with separate keys for all of the DLC (great if you already have something as you can give it away or sell it). I don't believe there's any region lock, so people from the majority of countries will be able to purchase it through Paypal.

  9. It's a known bug. You won't be able to interact with him anymore, he just repeats the "Not now lad" line.
  10. It's a bug that happens after the Battle for Whiterun quest. Since you don't play on the PC and have no previous saves you're likely out of luck, unfortunately. Your only hope is to talk to Brill (the new steward) to attempt to buy the key back. If Brill is dead, Proventus Avenicci might be the steward. Either way, though, if you can't buy the key back from the steward through dialogue you won't be able to access Breezehome again.
  11. I imagine they'll lift it whenever there's an open beta. The PS4 is supposed to have an exclusive (or maybe just the first) open beta event, and I imagine that will take place a month or so before the official release. That's just speculation, though; don't quote me.

  17. Really good guide, I actually hadn't even heard about the Werewolf exploit. You always seem to come out with these when they're least expected. Not that I'm complaining, of course; I enjoy reading them. I'm sure that hand-to-hand builds are a niche thing that a lot of people would like more information on that's not readily available everywhere.
  18. If they were to hypothetically allow that (and again, I highly doubt it), very few people would take advantage of it because they'd have to buy the game twice and probably pay two monthly fees on top of it. Compared to the whole population of console players, it would be a negligible amount of users. Yes, they might have an easier time in PvP until other players catch up, but any advantage there would disappear extremely fast until it's gone completely. After that point such a function would just be a positive. It would be a dick move at release, but I certainly wouldn't let it dissuade me from the game completely.
  19. This was clarified by a ZOS employee. It's a Fighter's Guild ability - Silver Bullets. There's no actual cross-bow you can equip. I really don't understand why PC/PS4 transfers would be a deal breaker for you. Honestly, that's something that I'd definitely want should I ever get a PS4. If people are willing to buy the game twice, more power to them. It really won't affect anything after the first week anyway. I doubt it's an option though.
  20. What are you referring to? The whole siege concept looks to be turning out better than I expected, but obviously you can't gather much from a trailer like this. I will say that, for a trailer, the character models looked terrible. Some of the animations were a bit shoddy as well (ram opening the gate), and there was a really big frame rate / lag issue going on... Trailer gets a C- from me. Hopefully the negatives are just on whoever put the trailer together with HyperCam and an iPhone 4.
  21. Closing this thread since the predictions are no longer necessary. Release topic.
  22. Earlier today (12/11/13), Zenimax announced that Elder Scrolls Online will be released on both the PC and Mac on April 4th, 2014. As expected, the release date for the consoles featuring ESO - the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One - will follow the first release by a few months. Although there has yet to be an announcement specifying the exact date, Zenimax states that console players will be able to purchase ESO sometime in June 2014. A new official game-play video featuring large-scale PvP battles was also released. The full announcement by Zenimax, including a message from Game Director Matt Firor, can be viewed on the official ESO site.Click here to view the article
