Today is the last day - or the "encore" - of the sale, so the previous daily deals and whatnot are on sale again. Steam actually pulled a fast one and ended all of the non-daily deal / flash sale prices early.

I had master Enchanting and Alchemy before I trained speech, so I just made a full set of equipment with the maximum barter enchantment and repeatedly bought and sold expensive items with a merchant. The more expensive the item, the more speech experience you gain by trading with it. You will lose a lot of money with this method, but if you're far in the game chances are you're already loaded anyways. In the end, it didn't make a dent in my finances since I just used the merchant, now overloaded with gold, to sell my extra and useless expensive items that I would have been forced to take a huge loss on otherwise.

Nope. In fact, even after the Dawnguard quests end taking items from Volkihar Keep will still count as stealing for Dawnguard members.

Left 4 Dead 2 is free, but it has also crashed the servers for a few hours. There's nothing else really interesting today, in my opinion.

I know, right? So far I've bought... Wait for it... 21 games. Total cost: $21.37. I had a backlog consisting of like 3 AAA games, 2 humble bundles, and a bunch of other garbage BEFORE these sales. Chances are I won't ever play what I've purchased so far.

Amazon has Dark Souls for $6.99 $5.99 until December 26th. It's easily one of my favorite games of all time, and if you're one of the 3 people who haven't played it yet, buy it now. Amazon has had it for a dollar or so cheaper in the past, so I'm going to rate this deal 4 stars... But honestly, from a pure value standpoint this is something you have to buy for $7. UpdateIt's now $5.99!
