They happen every year, so what's the big deal?" But it got bigger and stuff, and seeing this thread kind of shook me. Realizing that people I know, people that I expect to be there, could be gone at any second. Sorry if I'm over dramatizing, that's just what I felt when I read all of this. It snapped one of my family's trees in half, who live closer towards the coast. And the beach is pretty torn up, but that pretty much happens with any storm in that area.
