David
It seems people either love or hate platformers. Me? I. Hate. Them. The tedious jumping, poorly immersed puzzles... It's just... All so redundant in my opinion. What's yours?Don't get me wrong, there are some classics I enjoy such as Mario. But anything after Super Mario that's not on a handheld or 2D has jumped the shark for me.
Huygens
I hate them, because I suck at them , I always jump in some kind of gap when I'm doing MarioThe Prince of Persia saga is awesome tho, love the Persian culture
FunnyPirate
In these I only like super sonic or super mario. No more than that...
Fergal
I've only really player Mario and such. I actually think they are pretty fun, somehow they entertain me.
David
I just don't like the premise I guess. "Hey, look, this tediously complex series of puzzles is somehow built into the environment that I must pass though. Huzzah!"And on you go. FunnyPirate
Yup, the 2D format isn't that great and the graphics are bad.
MstrMonopoly
I love them on handhelds, but can't stand them anywhere else. 3D platformers suck, though I do have a bit of nostalgia for Croc 2.
Blake
Never had a problem with Platformers, then again, the most recent one I played is Super Mario Galaxy. Loved that game though.I guess the idea of a platformer game is kind of funny. A whole genre based on timing your button clicking and navigating clusterfucks of obstacles.
