It seems people either love or hate platformers. Me? I. Hate. Them. The tedious jumping, poorly immersed puzzles... It's just... All so redundant in my opinion. What's yours?Don't get me wrong, there are some classics I enjoy such as Mario. But anything after Super Mario that's not on a handheld or 2D has jumped the shark for me.

I just don't like the premise I guess. "Hey, look, this tediously complex series of puzzles is somehow built into the environment that I must pass though. Huzzah!"And on you go.

I love them on handhelds, but can't stand them anywhere else. 3D platformers suck, though I do have a bit of nostalgia for Croc 2.

Never had a problem with Platformers, then again, the most recent one I played is Super Mario Galaxy. Loved that game though.I guess the idea of a platformer game is kind of funny. A whole genre based on timing your button clicking and navigating clusterfucks of obstacles.
