Hey there and thanks for reading this. This topic will describe my thoughts on how to get better results recruiting and thus get more activity. Lets take a look at our current recruitment messages, shall we? Our Website | Clan Forums http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1LIY17yhuE And on RSOF:You have been formally invited to The RuneScape Rebelz! ¸.·´¸.·*´¨) ¸.·*¨) (¸.·´ (¸... - About TRR - TRR is a very unique clan, with a strong focus on community. Every member is welcomed into the family, no matter how new to Runescape or clans they may be. The main goal of TRR is to provide a fun, relaxed environment, in which all players can enjoy the game in the company of others. After all, isn't the whole point of Runescape to have fun? By now I'm sure you've noticed we have no level requirements, right? If you're wondering why a clan would do such a thing, it's really rather simple. Our clan believes things like activity, personality, attitude, and loyalty are all more important than how many hours someone has played Runescape. Many people believe having no requirements is one reason why our community has blossomed. After all, every member is treated as an equal. We help each other out, whether it be in Runescape or real life situations. ¸.·´¸.·*´¨) ¸.·*¨) (¸.·´ (¸... - Events - Do you rarely see clans host your favorite events? Don't worry! In TRR, all members are able to host their own events. Our clan puts it's members first, and everyone is heard no matter how new you are or what your combat level may be. We only ask that you're mature and repect everyone else in the clan. We welcome and encourage members to host and create their own events! A wide range of events are held in The Rebelz; we host both F2P and P2P events. Whether they are PvP, Skilling, Boss Hunting or whatever it may be, you can be sure they are held in TRR! ¸.·´¸.·*´¨) ¸.·*¨) (¸.·´ (¸... - Joining - To become our newest addition, join the clan chat "The Rebelz" and ask for further information, or contact me through a PM. Thank you, we hope to see you in the future! -TRR Recruitment Staff- [QFC: 87-88-730-63350410]<br class="Apple-interchange-newline"> *hope the shit works haha* What do we see? We try to make people believe we're a huge community, hosting events daily, visited by 30 people, THE PLACE TO BE FOR HIGH AND LOWER LVLS, killing graardor daily while doing pointless stuff like burning stuff as well, the ability to ask RS veterans whatever we want, people in cc 24/7... This does not resemble our current situation. Ok, here's the clue. People scan forums and messages to what would fit them. If a person is looking for a huge clan, they will skip messages of clans saying that we're a small-community clan. *nerd-voice*: But you've just said we actually say we're a big community! Yes, so these people might join the cc and see 0-3 people in it, not much for a big community, is it? However, people that are actually looking for small clans or wanting to help bring back activity in a clan will skip advertisements like ours, because we're saying that we're pretty big. Therefore, people don't join. People looking for big clans leave immediately after seeing an empty CC, people looking for a small clan, willing to help the clan in exchange for some credit (ranksluts) dont even bother joining. It's these last sort of people, I think, we need.. I think if we change our TARGET GROUP to people that are willing to be in a small clan, willing to help a small clan in growing a bit, willing to recruit, willing to get ranks fast for recruiting and making events, we will eventually get more activity. I am currently the rank of diplomat, I do not consider myself a rankslut, I just like to do whatever I can. However, this rank has given me a silver star in the clan chat, which might be appealing to future recruiters/helpers/members. Award people for being helpful. So, here's my plan: 1. A new recruitment message must be written by someone with a better understanding in English than I do. The message must imply we are actually quite small, and we need their help to grow. 2. New posts shall be made on both RSOF (under 90 combat + community clans + maybe speciality clan) and on fansites. 3. Fansites should be updated daily (it's often not allowed to bump more) and RSOF should be bumped as often as possible. Why did I post this in public? Because I want YOUR oppinion! TL;DR? Fuck you seriously...
