In the coming weeks / months I (and the rest of the staff, hopefully) will begin launching the first content of our ESO knowledgebase. This will consist of a dedicated ESO page with content pulled from all existing databases (videos, articles, gallery, etc) as well as many more unique interconnected sub-pages. Since there can't be a launch without, well, something, today is also the release of the first page, Factions in The Elder Scrolls Online. Next up will be Races. Those of you interested in being part of this project can apply for staff as a Content Team member.

So I recently came across what is allegedly the main title theme of the ESO beta. File is below for those that want to listen. Sort of disappointed. It's not bad, but it's clearly more of a mash-up of themes from Skyrim at the beginning. The second part of it sounds pretty generic. Again, not sure if this is even the actual theme it will release with. It's just what they have in the beta as title music (allegedly).

Does anyone actually have and like the Kinect? I've never used it, but it's always seemed like something that's just gimmicky, e.g. the Wii.

I've only used Windows 8 briefly and didn't like it either, but you can't really base any decision off of it because whether we like it or not it's what PCs are going to have as an OS for at least another year.

10/10 story, would read again.Where do you live? I never get flash floods like that here. I've heard they can be pretty intense and your story definitely backs that up. Thought that this was going to be a story about how the sun exploded.

I would buy Shivering Isles 4 times over at that price.

With default Skyrim, you open up the menu, and then navigate to magic. If you scroll down, you'll come across an "Active Effects" area that lists all of your current positive/negative effects. SkyrimUI optionally adds it to the HUD. I don't know if you have that enabled. If not, it's still probably in the original location. In the above image you can see the active effects on the right of SkyrimUI.

The PS4 has either similar or better hardware, so what's the deal with the X1 being more expensive? Is the shitty TV tuner addition really that big of a deal?

They must have been getting an unreal amount of pressure; I know I could hardly believe all of the negative backlash I was seeing. It's a shame they've already done so much damage to their brand with this whole fiasco. I remember Deathirst saying Sony had similar restrictions, albeit branded in a much better way. I wonder if they'll change anything now.

I'm guessing it's because they're going to start transitioning more and more to downloadable games. I had an 80GB, and it filled up FAST and I really didn't even have that much downloaded content on it. If the PS4 lasts as long as the PS3 did there might be space issues.
