This page is a supplement to our How to Get Married in Skyrim guide, containing a list of every man and woman available for marriage in Skyrim. The following tables are based off of user-submitted content to the wiki.
*As of v1.5 (4/5/12), Lydia now offers the option for marriage after you acquire the Breezehome house in Whiterun. If you are unable to get this dialogue option, make sure your game is updated with the recent patch and run the game for 15-20mins.

Does it have any advantages to get married?
Read the guide!

It's great how IP Board can embed anything you copy, such as that table. I'll have a look at it when I'm using your guide.

Yeah, it's definitely nice. Unfortunately the bbcode for word wrapping images is quite bad and a total clusterfuck when you're looking at it in the live editor. The final results still look good though after you mess with it, and I guess that's all that matters.
I think I'm gonna go for Aela. She's hot and who doesnt love a bit of kinky werewolf sex

Haha. Some guy in Youtube pointed out someone from Markarth, I think it was Hroki. She was probably the best looking NPC I've seen, whatever that means. Sadly she's the only adult in the child faction in the game and therefore unmarriable.
I chose Camilla from Riverwood. Purely because I just knew I had completed The Golden Claw and was too lazy to go about doing other shit before getting married. xD
If you have it on PC, there's a way to use console commands to marry her.
Sadly I have it on the PS3. The TES games seem to always come out in that period when my PC is too shitty to play modern games well, but it's also too long to wait before an upgrade. Ah well.
I guess it's interesting to note that it is impossible to marry a Wood Elf or a Khajitt. Which is a shame cause I've always been partial to Khajiits. D:
i wish i would have saw this before i got married in skyrim... could not find a male dark elf to marry.. and kina have a crush on Athis but didnt know i could marry him... well... looks like in killin my virtual husband haha

ah really... that sucks... good thing i forgot to do that when i got home haha
Yeah, kinda pissed there are no female Khajiits to marry, It'd be nice to have one of the ones from the caravan so for a general store.
unfortunately there's only 1 high elf that's marriable
W.T.F you can't marry any khajiits thats f---ing messed up
Stumped on marrying either Vilkas or Farkas because they're both just awesome. I have my sights set on one of them, but there's a glitch in the Companion questline and it's a hell of an issue, so there's a thin possibility that I'll be able to complete the questline and marry either of them. :(I wish Brynjolf was a contender, though. I love him haha

can you get re married on xbox360
You can only be married once, even if your spouse dies.
Currently working on the problem about death of a spouse with the new update, will edit this post upon completion of it, so keep an eye out when I finish.*Update 1: currently and quickly finishing a Thieves Guild quest, then going to confirm or deny the possibility of remarriage in Skyrim as of the current patch.*Update 2: Married Lydia, and ruthlessly shot her several times with the bow, and due to her being my companion as well as wife, only got inheritance. Don't know if you can't remarry if your wife is a companion but I think with the new patch, it wasn't added.Busted: Upon death of your spouse, you aren't greeted with any letter from a courier about possibility of remarriage.

Is it wrong that I saved the game right before killing Lydia so I could kill her repeatedly? BITCH GET OUT THE WAY.... actually it was more STOP IT LEROY!

ive seen someone marry brynjolf is it really possble
was it Pc or console? If it was PC, there are console commands.and as far as legit xbox, probably not. now I do know of a way to mod Xbox saves so it is technically possible, although time consuming and you nee a pc version as well.
