It would be nice to have a shout box or something of the sort at the top of our forums. I checked out the chat room that the forum has, but Im unsure if the messages would be saved for the next person. It might make it a bit more worthwhile to move it to the main page in-between the header and the forums.

There's really not that much need for a chat box if everyone uses IRC like they should, but I'll look into it. The problem with it is that it tend to clutter the top of the forum just a bit.

You could event place it below the new content box you know what im saying? yeah the shout box wouldnt be that big, and the talks would look like a small paragraph, but they are kind of fun.

the best place to put it as i have seen on other forums is a small one on the side of the sitewont look cluttered, and will be easy to use.but as said the irc is easy enought to talk in so i dont mindWE also have IP chat which looks good.

Or you could put it at the bottom of the forums, so it doesn't clutter. It's nice to have a shoutbox-- it serves a slightly different purpose than an IRC chat.

I'd be totally fine with a shoutbox on the bottom or side of the forum. Bottom would probably work a bit better as we already have a lot of things on the side.

The first website we had, we had it on the bottom and it took like no room at all, all it did was increase the scroll bar and didn't interfere with anything. So if anything, BOTTOM
