  1. Hi there. I am a staff of the clan "The Dark Syndicates". We've met a few times in the past, but today I'd like to propose something fun to do for both clans. I dont know if TRR still exists, or if theres still anyone in it. Other then that...Event: The Dark Syndicates vs The Runescape Rebelz Wind Rush Free For AllWhere: Either FFA White or Red PortalWhen: August 27th at 9pm GMT+0Kind of a self explainatory event. Have any questions..just reply to this thread

So just FFA, sounds like a great idea. The RuneScape Rebelz are still alive. I'm the current Clan Leader, Constanci0 (my rsname). I doubt that I can make this event due to obligations that I already have.
  2. I would like to welcome you into our clan. Congratulations on being accepted into The RuneScape Rebelz! :)

    ____________

    1. Forum Activity

As a member of TRR, it is your responsibility to periodically check up on the clan forums. This is important for many reasons, the least of which is so you can stay updated on clan news and important announcements. Many members choose to bookmark the forums - Forum Index - and simply check up on them quickly before or after logging into RuneScape. Posting on the forums is a necessary part of becoming involved with our clans community, and promotions are often based on how active clan members are on the forums.

    ____________

    2. In-Game Communication

It might seem silly, I know; but you would be amazed at how many people join and then complain that they didn't ever know when an event was taking place. To prevent that and to get to know other members of the clan, staying active in our in-game friends AND clan chat is a must. Our clan chat is 'The Rebelz', and members are expected to be in it whenever they're on RuneScape. You are allowed to leave the chat in certain situations (e.g. checking up on a merchant chat, moving chats for an event, etc), but generally you should be in the clan chat while on RuneScape.

    3. Other Tips

Other great communication tools that can help your chances at a promotion greatly include IRC and Ventrilo. For information on clan channels, please click the 'Communication' drop-down menu in the news header. You can learn more about using IRC specifically in our guide.

  6. There should be awards for former EC and that stuff, so new members don't get confused.

The description of the award is clear, also it would be a hassle to always to change the award every time there is a demotion and promotion. Lastly beside every posters' name and avatar it shows their rank.
  7. If you haven't yet watched The Dark Knight Rises and wish to preserve some surprises, you may want to stop here. Spoilers ahead!

I recently watched TDKR (The Dark Night Rises) and came out of it thinking it was a good movie that wrapped up the Nolan Trilogy. To be honest I didn’t like the fact that they had Bane in the movie; they could have implemented other villains, although I guess the Bane/Talia al Ghul story helped connect all of the movies together. A tangent to the topic of this article, I know - back on topic.

Christopher Nolan stated that Robin was a dumb character, and claimed he wouldn’t put him in any movie. Surprise! Nolan puts a strong reference (at least) to him in the final movie. I guess this was Nolan’s way of back-handing fans that were unhappy Robin wouldn't make an appearance; why create a ‘false’ Robin character throughout the plot and then reveal him near the end of the movie?

Nolan gave more life to John Blake than his ordinary comic character. John Blake is a young upcoming police officer in the movie, and comes from an orphan background story. He is somehow clever enough to find out who Batman is just by mere facial expressions. After hours of "subtle" references to comic book Robins Nolan goes for the home-run at the end of the movie and pulls real big thing out of his ass - he reveals Blake is actually ‘Robin John Blake’.

    An article on Forbes said...

Blake has the background of Jason Todd and Tim Drake, for the most part (his father is murdered due to a debt, and he later deduces Batman’s identity while still a young kid), but then grows up to have Dick Grayson’s adult life (being a police officer and ally of Batman who has dealt with the tragedy in his childhood in a more productive and healthy way than Bruce dealt with his own tragedies, plus that whole chalk emblem, all adds up to a “realistic†incarnation of Nightwing). Then, we find out that his actual legal name is Robin. So I’d argue that yes, he definitely served the role of Robin in The Dark Knight Rises. Meaning he was ALREADY Robin, he isn’t going to become Robin in the future.

Forbes goes on to suggests that Blake becomes Batman. Obviously this is idiotic as there is no canon where Jason Blake turns into Batman.

For one, John Blake can’t be Robin... and will never be Robin. Why, you ask? Because he isn’t a Robin in any form of the comics, so why would he be in the films? The only records of Robin are:

    [*]Dick Grayson (becomes Nightwing/[batman temporarily])

    [*]Jason Todd (becomes Red Hood)

[*]Tim Drake (becomes Joker [in comics and Batman Beyond]) or (also becomes Red Robin)

    [*]Stephanie Brown (becomes Spoiler)

    [*]Damian Wayne

There are only 3 people who dawn the cape and name of Batman

    [*]Bruce Wayne (Original)

    [*]Dick Grayson (First Robin)

    [*]Terry McGinnis (Batman Beyond)

Jason Blake’s full name in the comic is ‘Jason Blake,’ and adding Robin to the first part of his name does not turn him into the character. He may act like a Robin-esque character, but he will not be Robin or Batman in any sense of the matter. Some people may say that this is a Batman Universe that Nolan imagined and this was his version of Robin, and he may have lead many stupid people to believe that it was Robin by just simply adding those lines at the end of the movie... But do you know what? Who f@#$ing cares? Because he isn’t Robin.

  8. I actually like the (community.eldersouls.com) style, like you said it looks more professional and not a subforum/folder.

For instance when telling people people about trr.eldersouls.com it eliminates possible confusion that people might have and it's something unique in the sense that (I personally) don't see much of 'blahblahblah.website.com' I usually see 'www.website.com/forum-home'

  9. Cons, you need to let more people have control over the Citadel, seeing as Clan avatars was released and i cant do sweet f a with it,

It's not about giving people more control over the citadel...it's about getting people to come a skill at the citadel.David has to come on and give the power to do so, For some odd reason I can't.

  11. Congratulations to... Deathirst!

Congratz Deathirst! You have obviously proved why you deserve this clan achievement, with the dedication to helping out with recruitment and the citadel, and activity. Thank for taking the initiative when Staff was not around. Keep up the good work.

Remember to vote for next month’s MotM when voting opens.

  14. Only in Japan stuff like this happens? you know why?My friend and I discussed about how Japan has a bunch of cool/smart/wacky stuff that North America will never have. We came to a conclusion that Japan has all these things because they don't think it through. They just do it, which brings us to the cool/smart/wacky things they have.
