  9. Easily one of the most fun weeks of the year is attending PAX Prime in Seattle. Closing out the summer meeting some of our biggest fans is always a thrill. And if you’ve ever been to Seattle, the weather in late August/early September is damn near perfect. For Bethesda’s 7th PAX Prime, we’ve got a pretty exciting lineup — we’re showcasing The Evil Within, BATTLECRY, and The Elder Scrolls Online. With less than two months until its October 14th release, we’re celebrating The Evil Within, Shinji Mikami’s return to survival horror, in a major way. By visiting our booth in the Washington Convention Center, you’ll have a chance to go hands-on with the game on either Xbox One or PlayStation 4. What’s more, we’ll have multiple contests during the week for a chance to win custom Xbox One consoles and a one-of-a-kind piece of memorabilia that’s sure to charm terrify your friends and family. And don’t worry, fans at home will have a chance to win, too — more details later this week. Mock-ups of customized Xbox One consoles that lucky winners will have a chance to score! More details to come! Also at the Bethesda PAX booth, multiplayer madness will be in full effect for both The Elder Scrolls Online and BATTLECRY. With the the former, ESO veterans (and newcomers) will have a chance to participate in tense, 3v3v3 multiplayer in Colovian Crossing — a special capture-the-flag PvP worth checking out. It’s a real treat. All players that check out ESO will come away with something special, too — a download code for a limited edition Bristlegut Pig pet to accompany you in your Tamriel travels. Meanwhile for BATTLECRY, we’ll be showcasing 8v8 matches in an all-new game mode, Land Grab, with plenty of loot for players to grab. All participants will score a BATTLECRY pin for playing. But winning teams will have an opportunity for even more prizes, including… … this Cossacks vs. Royal Marines lithograph signed by the game’s Creative Director Viktor Antonov if you win one match, and… … one of these PAX Prime BATTLECRY faction t-shirts if your team wins two consecutive matches. PAX Prime takes place August 29th – September 1st at the Washington Convention Center in Seattle, WA. 11. Not that I can speak about it personally (I’ve never been to Gamescom), but talking to those that attended and knowing that more than 300,000 attend the show, it sounds pretty hectic. And with that, we’d like to give thanks to all the folks that helped make this year’s show such a success for Bethesda — for The Elder Scrolls Online, BATTLECRY, and The Evil Within. Specific to The Evil Within, we’re very excited about the awards the game claimed at the show, including the official Gamescom award for Best Console Game (Sony PlayStation), JeuxVideo.com’s Best Survival Horror Game, and Computer Bild Spiele’s Best Next Gen Game. To everyone that attended, and everyone that worked the booth, thanks for making this year’s Gamescom so memorable! Below are some photo highlights from the show, as well as the newest screenshots for The Evil Within. In and around the show Get more details on the game here! View Original Article

Dyeing your armor is as simple as approaching a dye station and selecting your favorite color scheme. We can’t wait to see what you come up with. Guilds have good reasons to be excited about the update, too. Guild leaders can now create custom guild ranks and design their own guild tabard. There are tons of icons, colors, and tabard shapes available, so pick your favorites and put your guild’s identity on display. There’s more: guild stores can now be found throughout Tamriel. 16. We’re preparing to make the move to our new datacenter! Get the details and answers to your questions here.We know many of you have been looking forward to the migration, and we’re ready to share the specifics. The European megaserver migration will begin at 8:00AM EDT (1:00PM BST) on July 29th, and we anticipate that the process will be complete by 5:00PM EDT (10:00PM BST). During the migration, the European megaserver will be unavailable, but the North American megaserver, account site, and forums will not be affected. If you have questions about the process, we’ve got you covered. Here are a few common ones. If you don’t see your question here, make sure to check out our knowledge base. Mega! Will anything change for me when the migration is complete? Nope! All your characters will be just the way you left them before the move. There won’t be a patch to download, either. The migration seems to be during European primetime. Why is that? Moving everything over to our new datacenter is a complex operation involving a large number of our engineers and support staff in Europe and North America. It’s important to us that everyone we need for the process is awake, ready, and available. This will help us make the transition as smooth as possible. I’m European, but created characters on the North American megaserver. Can I move them to the new European megaserver? No. The migration will only affect characters that already exist on the European megaserver, and no transfers are available right now. We’re looking forward to the move and are doing everything we can to make sure your characters arrive safely in the Frankfurt database. See you there!
