Francis, your funny.
Anyway, I just worked it out. The caption was very misleading. (Never my fault). What I actually had to do is go to the bottom of the screen where it had 15 DRAGON SOULS, and then hit that with my sheath (drop) button, that unlocked my dragon soul. FINALLY!!! after that I just followed the prompts. i think i need a drink of something strong.
Thanks for your effort! Much appreciated.
What level you at?
Cool. I think I'm at 60 or so.
That's actually you in the tree, isn't it, Francis?
Haha, no. The heck did you arrive at that conclusion?
That's an official Bethesda video. It could be Todd Howard in there.

But about the Unlock Button: (which might make me look a little silly) I've been trying to use a few different buttons and none seem to work, I assume the button is either my ATTACK or my PICK UP ITEM button... NONE OF WHICH WORK. The game recommends the F button but that doesn't work either.... Keep in mind it took me ten levels to work out that my DROP ITEM button was also my sheath button. So which is my UNLOCK button... you were saying??? is it the same as any other button?
Go to the tab that lists your discovered shouts. Hover your mouse over any grayed-out shouts, and you should see a tooltip at the bottom of your screen regarding some keybound options. I think unlock is "R". You need to spend one soul for every level of the shout you've discovered.
Actually, Francis, no that's not my actual name. Buttons is just my gaming name. Sorry if you know someone with that name ;-/
Nah. Actually, I was trying to refer to this guy. Heh...
-
Speaking of buttons, have you ever spent any of those souls to unlock the shout? There's an unlock button, Mr. Buttons.
Anyway, this is sort of unrelated, but your full name wouldn't happen to be J'Dathar Buttons, would it?

That's normal. They don't say "black" on my game either. But test them out, you'll see that the "grand" souls from humans are more effective than all the rest.

I was half-expecting you to use that GIF of a dog raping a chicken from the site gallery. Nevertheless, dogs policing stuff is good too. Aww, they think they're people...

Interesting. It seems farm animals do have zany shenanigans in real life. Who knew?

Mmmmmm, Now i can see the cheese as i imagine the cheese also inside.
There is no cheese inside.

There's actually a setting for input delays. I don't remember what it's called, but I'm sure you can work it out. Set the slider to zero, and that should do the trick.

Your archery level must be above his training expertise. That's probably it. I think it just grays out the option though.

My country tried to get creative with sandwiches too. We came up with this.
It's a burger with the cheese on top. I mean, Christ, why?

Actually, the game only takes up around 30gb. Don't know why they say 60.
My best hunch is that it's either your firewall or antivirus.
If not, try going to whatever the mac version of the "My Documents" folder is, and delete the game settings. It's the folder named "Elder Scrolls Online". Then try running the launcher again with administrator privileges.

Weapon switching is incredibly unresponsive mid-combat. I suggest you stick to one style in the middle of a fight.
For your secondary bar, I'd say either fill it with skills you want to train (switch to them before turning in quests), or fill it with pre-combat buffs and ground traps.
As for the werewolf thing...I suppose you could use it in ways less intended. If you slotted the werewolf skill on one bar, your maximum ultimate point pool would then be one thousand. Unless they've changed how things work, which I doubt, this should allow you to cast any other ultimate ability multiple times in quick succession.
But what do I know? I'm not a werewolf. I got bitten once, but my indecision to complete the quest made the disease leave me. Meh.

Go on, David. Help her kill her children.

My dragonborn never really settled down. So, no.
I'd say get a new bard. That one's obviously a free-thinking anarchist. We can't have that kind of riff raff in the business.

...And with it comes a runaway memory leak.

I like Whiterun.
As long as you don't ever stop playing games, you're already living in a cave.

Is this a precursor to you changing the forum pages from gray to white? You know what I'm talking about...

Among other things, watching a fairly redundant video brings us new news...

I've noticed that you've been fairly quiet about your thoughts and experiences. Is it really that bad or just the usual frustrating MMO launch compounded with ZOS's inexperience?
Now being three levels away from reaching veteran rank, and having done it the intended way without any speed-grinding, I can say the game has somewhat grown on me since the first time I played the Beta. It's not that it's a bad game, it's just that it didn't meet our legendary expectations conceived while anticipating it. You gotta admit, with as much friskiness that we held the game with, we were bound for a high likelihood of frustrated disillusionment.
But I've found some great people to play it with. So it's gotten considerably better.
Then again, I won't deny that ZOS does seem pretty inexperienced. A complex item-duping bug (going to a guild bank and clicking really fast) wasn't fixed for two weeks, and resulted in an influx of cloned items. Innocent players got hit in the ban crossfire. And then later, a few not-so-innocent botters who automated the exploit simply pretended to be innocent, and got their accounts back in the humble apology phase.
And then there was a minor mail-duping bug.
There's definitely been some inexperience on ZOS's part. Either that or everybody's been having a love dodecahedron with Maria Aliprando.

I've been putting playing off because I don't know if I want the truth.
I suspected as much.

I've been waiting for Brodo to post this.
I can't believe all the things that went wrong with this game. I don't know what's up with Zenimax.

Haven't seen it nor tried it, and neither am I a nightblade, but I'm sure it won't last forever. Shadow Cloak has one of the highest magicka costs, the returns from the drain are low, and you have to pay magicka for the drain too.
The right gear could help, but there are softcaps in regeneration, and the bonuses that reduce spell costs are pretty low.
In retrospect, even heavy attacks deal mediocre damage compared to abilities. So, you'd be like a pest, if anything, I think.
