Decided to finally get an avatar, but when I try to import a picture, it says it failed. It's a jpeg. Any suggestions?

If it doesn't say something like "Illegal File Extension" the jpeg isn't the problem. The size limits are 50 KB and 150x150

The exact words are "Failed to set a new photo". It may be the size. I figured it would just shrink the photo for me like EVERY OTHER FORUM I USE.If it doesn't say something like "Illegal File Extension" the jpeg isn't the problem. The size limits are 50 KB and 150x150

I did it through the Admin CP and it worked fine, so... Dunno. I did change one setting though. You should try to re-do it via your CP and let me know if it works.

When I tried using URL it didn't give me an error message, though the red error bar popped up with no error in it. When I tried uploading it, it said "Failed to set new photo"

Post the photo, I'll just do it manually. It will also allow me to check against the reqs, which might be needlessly strict.

Oh yeah. I actually had a problem, but I figured out I was doing something wrong. I forgot what I was doing wrong though.

If that was the same URL, it probably wasn't letting you because it's hosted on another site that would probably be upset with the bandwidth usage.EDIT: I lied. It's some settings issue, I'll get it worked out.
