  1. They can include image examples in the post with the forum though, so we're not losing any usability. If it proves to be extremely active we can add a forum; but honestly, I don't see more than 3-4 applications over a couple month period, and even less accepted applications.
  2. I think applications should start as a thread too. People could post their applications in the thread (original post has the form), and then you could just discuss them in your Team Planning forum.Edit: Added the Request forums. It's also possible to have multi-moderation automatically tag threads as completed. I'll add something for it; the menu for it will be on the bottom right of every thread.
  3. I would like to welcome you into our clan; congratulations on being accepted into the RuneScape Rebelz! ____________ I. What's Required of You ____________ 1. Forum Activity As a member of TRR, it is your responsibility to periodically check up on the clan forums. This is important for many reasons, the least of which is so you can stay updated on clan news and important announcements. Many members choose to bookmark the forums - Forum Index - and simply check up on them quickly before or after logging into RuneScape. Posting on the forums is a necessary part of becoming involved with our clans community, and promotions are often based on how active clan members are on the forums. ____________ 2. In-Game Communication It might seem silly, I know; but you would be amazed at how many people join and then complain that they didn't ever know when an event was taking place. To prevent that and to get to know other members of the clan, staying active in our in-game friends AND clan chat is a must. Our friends chat is 'TheRebelz', and members are expected to be in it whenever they're on RuneScape. You are allowed to leave the chat in certain situations (e.g. checking up on a merchant chat, moving chats for an event, etc), but generally you should be in the clan chat while on RuneScape. ____________ 3. Other Tips Other great communication tools that can help your chances at a promotion greatly include IRC and Ventrilo. For information on clan channels, please click the 'Communication' drop-down menu in the news header. You can learn more about using IRC specifically in our guide. ____________ Quick Information Friends Chat: TheRebelz Clan Chat Owner: Traaginen IRC Channel: #Rebelz It's great to see you in TRR, we all look forward to getting to know you!
  4. Gangsta, what forum sub-sections do you think would be better suited as threads to start-out with?
  5. Looks good, Stuart! I'll let you guys know if I need anything else. Thanks.
  6. Games that make you pay to have an advantage over other players are the worst.Wait...
  7. What the heck happened to timber? He disappeared after some shady things happened on his account. Why don't you invite him back?
  8. Yeah, I was referring to the black/blue color theme. This button will primarily be used on other sites to link to us, though, so it wont have to stand out here.
  9. Welcome to our boards! It's nice to see such an informative and well written introduction. Be aware that our clan forums are hidden from community members, so don't assume we have no events or anything.
  10. All. I. Want. Is. Count. Chocula. y u no in my belly?

  11. This is one of the very few titles I'm willing to buy at the original $60 price-point.On this topic, would anyone be willing to buy Skyrim through Amazon? When we lost our ability to use google ads, we also lost our main source of income to help out with costs. Amazon has a referral program where we could link members to a product and get a slight commission for the referral if the item is purchased. You wouldn't have to pay anything extra at all; the clan would just get ~4% and Amazon would get ~96% instead of 100%.
  12. Looking to get some quests completed but can never find anyone to help you? Are you a dedicated quester and want to share your knowledge? This weekend is for you! View the full article
  13. That's better. What about doing a green/black one (our traditional colors), or better yet even - one that matches the colors of our site? That would be great.
  14. I LOVE the animation idea behind it! Two things I noticed: 'S' in RuneScape should be capitalized; I think the colors should be more earth-tone/dark with a pronounced text color, just because of the clientele that we'll be targeting (gamers; 12-20 year old males). I really do love it though. I'm sorry if I'm being more anal than usual, but this button has quite the implications behind it.
  15. I think a few of those sections should at least start out as pinned threads until we see how many submissions we get.Oh, and since you're taking a slant towards graphics, what about media such as youtube videos?
  16. Now we'll wait and see what Stuart/Terra whip up. ;)By all means continue fiddling with that or new images if you want. The more possibilities the better.
  17. Is the 16x16 just an edited version of the Established Rebel image? I'd like something that stands on it's own more; something more unique that we haven't used yet.Now that I see it with bold edges, I think the problem is that the internal text lines (like for the E and B ) are two narrow and hard to decipher from the rest, rendering it difficult to read. It's probably a font issue.Accidentally deleted the following from before your last post:
  18. That's not bad at all, better than anything I could do. Perhaps you could flip the order so that the text was on the left and the image on the right? Just a possible option since left->right is the natural reading path we take, and the words would be wrapped evenly. I do think you should drop "RuneScape" in "The RuneScape Rebelz" though, since we're moving away from that name and you'd be able to make the name bigger and easier to see. The other alternative was adding "RuneScape Community" instead since this button will be for linking to our site's community aspect. Either one would be fine. Not bad at all though! Definitely on the right path.
  19. Hey, one of you talented PS'ers should try their hand at making us an affiliate button. Here are some examples: (not the right size) Dimensions must be 88x31, and it needs to say "The Rebelz" or "RuneScape Community." It needs to be impressive since the point is to draw users from other sites to ours even though there will probably be 20 other buttons next to it. EDIT: While you're at it, if anyone can find/create a suitable 16x16 team icon for the Graphics Team that would be awesome.
  20. First of all, the applications haven't been reviewed yet, much less accepted/denied. Don't be upset if you aren't accepted your first time applying anyways, hardly ANYONE is. You're a relatively new member; it's normal for their to be a period of a month or so when you establish yourself in the clan before getting promoted. Promotions aren't handed out on a single day of activity, either. They're based on consistent activity over a long period of time. And please read the forum descriptions before posting a thread. For example, this topic should be in "TRR Discussion" since it relates to the clan.
  21. Achievements added. Please remember that you're not allowed to post twice in this thread in the same week. If you have additions to make, please edit your first post.
  22. David

    hi people

Hey man, welcome to our community. Make sure you validate your email, then you'll be able to post everywhere.
  23. If you want to be safe when you recruit, I'd advise that you tell people this: "Search "The Rebelz Community on Bing, we're the first result."That way, the douchers can't report you and your account isn't at any risk. We're currently not very high on Google atm since we switched domains, so make sure you say Bing too.
  24. If you post something that someone views worthy of a +1, they can +1/upvote you by clicking the "+" button on the bottom right of the post they liked. Alternatively, they can downvote/-1 you (only once per day though).
