ohh. this forum section is about builds primary?

 

I've been responding to posts that are focused on theorycrafting

 

(see that a lot of people do talk about different builds; but imo it is still a bit to early to make builds as it is impossible to number crunch before we know the behind the scenes game mechanics and how all individual abilities scale towards end game).

To me Theorycrafting is the best name because its not only classes and or builds, its about ressource regen, ability damage, dps calculations, bla bla bla you name it. all things theory.

Theorycrafting is a well established name for that kind of stuff.

ones the game launches we could split it up but at the current state it's pretty much all theorycrafting

Wouldn't the name Theory Crafting be kind of out dated since it is no longer 'theory' if we can do it in game?

Wouldn't theorycrafting be just analysing the game mechanics etc, rather than proposing certain theorys before game release?

 

I really feel it's fitting as it is. And the need to split it as irons suggested wouldn't really be necessary in my opinion unless activity jumps a lot.
