Tynisa Posted June 13, 2013 Report Share Posted June 13, 2013 HA. Great game for 1600 MS points, if you have an Xbox 360 of course. First game i've played for more than 15 minutes in a LONG time. Its only a XBLA 2GB game, but its openworld, zombie apocalypse survival. Pretty much does what it says on the tin, its not perfect, but for half the cost of a normal game, you are getting a lot of content. Do a little more research, and you will find that this game is a "test" for their next big game, "class 4" - as its being currently called. I've never had probs with obstacles loading, however i have hit a few "small rocks" that were apparently like an iceberg in the titanic film. Any of your main characters died yet? I fucked up bad, gave Maya Shotgun specialisation, because i assumed you could get both a melee AND a gun spec, i was wrong. - Not used her ever since. After that Ed got ripped in two by a Big Fucker in front of my very eyes. Hard to watch. I also gave Marcus the edged weapons spec, because i had to Heavy weapons to abuse his "Powerhouse" ability - however i later found out that edged can work well on powerhouse people, because the weapons get easily broken/damaged, powerhouse helps to make them last longer with their chance to insta-gib. - So that turned out okay in the end! -- Im in the Trucker place too, its probably one of the two best options in the game. -- Quick tip: Materials are quite hard to locate, and get used up quite fast by your population - however there is a glitch where if you find a materials resource, and then ask for a scavenger to come pick it up, but then afterwards loot the SAME material resource for yourself, they still come and pick it up - 2 Material Resources in one. I'm trying to kill some off the weaker people though because I don't have enough beds, and I keep having morale problems, I've got rid off 3 people like that already, but it takes a while to recover from a death. but it was just the one that I didn't want to die that matters, so on accident I've had one person die. I also chose the heavy weapons specialization for marcus, and the rifle specialization for maya, I rarely use her too, but I've maxed out her skills anyway. useful tip* I find running into a wall to be a fast way to max out cardio, remember; rule #1 But my biggest problem is definitely the car thing, I'm running especially low on cars, or at least working cars, the rest are smoking, I exchange them out everyday trying to fix them all up, it's a pain... Haha. I suppose you can't get more beds then, :-p How many people do you have with you? Sounds like you got a massive group - i never had a problem with beds on my first playthrough, and i recruited a couple of enclaves, had something like 12-18 people, and i don't think i even added another sleeping area to the trucker place. I have people coming to my door like im giving out fucking reeses cups, it's so common for me it's annoying, and I'm not even joking, I wouldn't say I'm lucky honestly because I get useless people often, but I've figured out though that I can just use the useless ones for dumb errands, like finding a freak, or clearing an infestation, I had 2 die to ferals, those things are badass, even with marcus I'm scared of those things, and big asses are just tedious to kill, but if they grab me I start to freak out a little, bloaters I hate because when you run them over you have to bail your car, and swats are okay because I never use guns anyway, but if you pay close attention, you'll notice that swats do more damage to a car when you spatter them, what's your least favorite freak? Still haven't played much, but on my second playthrough getting people to join me is a lot easier, and i've started killing off the shitter members too, they are a needless burden. LoL, first time I seen a bloater I freaked out like "ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww WTF IS THAT??!!??!!" then I hit it with an axe, and marcus almost died from a horde, now I try to avoid bloaters to the best of my ability. I dont mind meleeing them, but one wrong dodge and its gl hf getting ripped in half. Especially if im with someone, it can go to hell in a handcart. I once had a situation clearing an infestation out, just the basic two screamers, nothing special, either way, i thought i would bring along one of the "fear itself" mission guys, just some no name with a frying pan, but the distraction when taking out infestations helps a little. Down to the last couple zombies, and a screamer - i've forgotten my bullets, o boy. "A horde has been alerted" - no problem, there are two of us, a horde should be easy, and i have a couple snacks to chew on anyway. Big Fucker arrives. While im trying to clear out the smaller less effective zombies out, so i can concentrate solely on the big cunt, my ladyfriend decides to 1v1 him. I'f I'm alone and I have firebombs on me, I will normally go out of my way to kill them, but followers AI doesn't seem to tell them "hey dumbass, THAT THING IS HUGE, fucking stay away from it!" that's what I yell at them to make up for their lack of common sense, they never listen...
