Intructive Text/Font within game - I cannot read it !!

Hi

Ok this is going t o be a laughably easy answer for you but it has been driving us crazy since Xmas and we would really appreciate your help as to some extent it has prevented us playing the game and certainly spoiled our enjoyment.

Right - You know the text directions ? They are VERY small to the point of illegibilty so...........................any ideas? We have a HD ready TV if that makes any difference and the XBOX 360 works just fine ........Cannot see anything to change it in the menus etc and so am really vey stuck here.

You can try going into system settings and changing it to widescreen. Sometimes that helps.Chances are it is just your tv. Might wanna wait until somebody else offers their two cents though.

Could you explain what you're seeing more specifically? For example, is the entire the window the game is in only a portion of the TV, or is everything fine besides the text? Is it coming in relatively blurry/fuzzy?

Full screen on tv - all graphics are fine - picture is clear, screen settings are ok, no ripping etc - the characters in the font are just really small and blurry - not easily read even at very close range - cheers both all help gratefully received lol Am playing "war in the north" right now and although font is small it is readable and this is the same with other games - just seems to be an issue with Elder Scrolls :/

Hm. I don't believe Skyrim has any text setting for adjustment. How big is your TV? Here are the issues that come to mind...

[*]The TV is relatively small. I could see some having issues with the text on the smaller widescreen HD's out there.

[*]It's not set up correctly. To get an HD signal, your HDTV needs to be correctly set up with an HDMI cable and have the appropriate settings configured in the PS3/360. Otherwise, you'll be getting standard definition converted to widescreen and that will make the problem exponentially worse. This is a pretty common mistake.

Since you've said the text was blurry, I expect it's the second. Here's an HDMI cable example:
