GTA Online players have always chased outfits that don't sit neatly in the normal wardrobe menus. The black utility pouches are a good example. You see them on certain heist looks, then realise you can't just buy them like gloves or boots. That's why outfit merging still gets attention, even from players who already own plenty of cars, weapons, and GTA 5 Accounts for different play styles. The trick is to start with the right heist clothing, then save the setup in a way the game doesn't immediately strip back.
Start with the right Casino Heist outfit
The base piece you need is found at a regular clothing store, not some hidden vendor. Walk into a shop like Suburban, use the front counter, and open the complete outfit menus. From there, look for the Diamond Casino Heist section. Go into Infiltration: Upgraded Tech and equip The Infiltrator. Don't swap the top or pants yet. The whole point of this outfit is the black pouch set around the torso and waist. Those pouches are tied to the outfit itself, so changing too much too early can break the look before you've saved anything useful.

Layer the helmet and mask before saving
Once the heist outfit is on, head over to the Vespucci Movie Masks store by the beach. This is where the outfit starts to feel less like a preset and more like something you built yourself. Browse helmets first, open Bulletproof Helmets, and put on the Black Bulletproof Helmet. After that, move straight to masks, choose the Gas category, and equip the Chemical Mask. GTA Online can be fussy with items that occupy similar slots, so don't wander off for ages. Use the nearby clothing racks and save the current look into a custom outfit slot while it's still holding together.
Use a mission save to make it stick
Free roam saving doesn't always respect these layered combinations. That's the annoying bit. To give the outfit a better chance of staying intact, open the pause menu, go to Online, choose Jobs, then Play Job, Rockstar Created, and Missions. Start something simple, such as A Titan of a Job. When the mission loads, ignore the objective and drive to the nearest Ammu-Nation. Use the clothing rack inside and overwrite the same custom outfit slot. After the save confirms, pull up your phone and quit the job. When you return to a public or invite-only session, reselect the outfit through the interaction menu and check the pouches, helmet, and mask.
Small finishing touches that make it look cleaner
After the merge is saved, you can still tune the outfit without ruining the core pieces if you're careful. Body armor from the interaction menu usually fits the theme well, and Black Woolen Gloves are a safe pick if the default gloves look off. A black parachute bag adds that field-operator shape without being too loud. Some players testing fresh characters or cheap GTA 5 Accounts use this outfit early because it looks far more advanced than most store-bought clothing. Try not to overdo it with bright accessories; the black pouches work best when the whole outfit stays dark, simple, and practical.
