  1. And I understand that, but don't you think that we could get a group together, who meet certain criteria, have certain programs, in order to have an organized way to video events? I mean, it is hard for one person to be at every major event, participate, and let alone film it all. And honestly, you could break the group into two sections. Have a small group of video artists (2-3) in order to cover certain time zones, or the main time zone, see that is when major events will take place. In addition to that, have another group (2-3) people who can work together as a team and edit the video into a final copy .
  2. Thanks, I am about to have a huge over-haul already on my goals, so keep tuned in
  3. Haha yeah, then you should definitely get Bandos.
  4. Honestly, I agree, these can start out as a sticky. On top of that, I agree that there needs to be a video section and honestly, someone designated to take video/edit for the clan itself. Clan Events and such.
  5. Ha! Yeah, I am about done with this place. This is my 4th deployment, I'm tired and ready to get back to making my family. Where are you at?
  6. Dragon Armor is in terms better than Bandos if you plan to TANK. It has a good amount more defense to protect you, but you lack on the Strength Bonus.Bandos on the other hand. I would recommend it, if you are 85+ defense and can afford it. At that point you really have no need to tank any longer and can afford the small lack of defense for the +12 strength boost
  7. Honestly, I would go with Ahrim's budget wise. Yes, it degrades, but honestly, 15 hours of strictly combat is a LONG TIME. And only for 400k to repair? Yes, definitely Ahrim's.
  8. A very nice guide and I actually cannot wait until I can get the Mighty Banshees. They were easily one of my favorite slayer tasks and was sad to find out the Kuradel didn't assign them.
  9. If you got mad without first investigating why you were bumped from Diplomat, then in all honestly, the fault is on you. I hate to see members leave and judging by the replies to your message, a great member. If you love this community and can accept that it was an honest mistake, just a general bump down because of your inactivity, I believe we would all like to see you back
  10. Yeah, well I decided, since I am training Slayer, that I might as well scrap this entire goal/achievement pad and start over. Just trying to figure out where to start
  11. It is good to have the forum back, even though the directory is gone
  12. More like 8, but close enough lol. Other side of the state nonetheless
  13. Well, the problem that I find in Dueling Arena is that, being a higher level (110+) in combat usually leads to lower stakes, uneasy noobs, and nervous opponents. Reason I say this is because at that level, your potential for winning tips either way. It becomes more of a fight of luck rather than raw skill. The only thing you are going to encounter that may or may not be easy are pures. And 9/10 times they are going to win because you are ill-prepared and they have the advantage of solely crushing you with one particular combat.
  14. Thanks, that helps a lot Judo. Any ideas on my dilemma with Summoning?
  15. Ok, so 88 str is only going to be good for training purposes basically? Because Melee is not much of an option outside of that. Even with Slayer after I get ATK/STR/DEF to where I want, tasks are going to be Magic/Ranged. 74 Prayer is a good option and highly considering it, but I'm trying to figure out a minimal combat level for me to stay at with these stats. lol.
  16. Coty, what part of TN? I live just east of Memphis. And I will be moving down around the Tampa Bay area . Also, if you want to learn, feel free to contact me: PM me Email: [email protected] Any questions you have, I should be able to help and I can teach you how to better yourself at knowing your computer. Especially when you consider buying one. Also, I'm trying to make it to the IRC as best as I can right now. My internet keeps throwing up faults though, so I'm working out the kinks.
  17. Idk, maybe it is just me but the new Horde mode is insanely more difficult than GOW2. Unfortunately, the internet provider here blocked WiFi usage, so the most we can do is system link a couple 360s together, but still...i think with 4 people we only made it to round 42 or something like that. The first 10 waves, easy enough, then the hordes are nothing but Boomers, Mulchers, Boomshields, and Bosses. Every big monster they can throw at you is there...ridiculous. And then of course you have your snipers and clickers, which are annoying as hell btw. It will be interesting to keep pushing forward.
  18. If that is the case, the Diplomat is the chief recruiter. Congratz! to those who got promoted.
  19. Well, here is my out take from the replies:The reason I have 70 ATK as a goal is solely for the use of the Abyssal Whip for 99 DEF. As far as Summoning goes for Slayer, that was my initial and main dilemma with the situation. I'm using Slayer (my favorite skill) as a way to train all of the multiple of skills. While the EXP in some of the skills may be slow, I'm not basing this off a time line just yet. Now, I understand for Slayer, at a minimum 68 Summoning is almost a must at higher levels. But in order for me to raise it, I would have to sacrifice my Combat Level in order to use it (104 combat vs 110+). That makes a considerable difference in the Dueling world, not so much a factor for PKing. And yes, the idea is to be a maxed tank with the use of Arcane Stream, SOL, and alike items in order to gain immediate advantages both in PKing and Dueling. Can you tell me why you prefer the 60 ATK / 88 STR set up better I-God Apollo? My intent is to focus on the Range/Magic capabilities of my character, not so much the Melee. Maybe I am missing something, so please, by all means, keep feeding me some information.
  20. Thanks again . Yeah, I still need to work on the full line of specs...so don't drool just yet. And yes, the experience is nice, but I am also open to new ideas. I love to learn and evolve, which what makes RuneScape such an addicting game. Right when you think you have the best way to train a skill or make money, BOOM!, another update and now you can integrate different methods in order to achieve an even higher goal. With that, you may have quests/achievements you must obtain in order to achieve what you want, so yes, I enjoy the constant challenges Jagex has to offer .
  21. Greetings and welcome to my Goals thread. I encourage you to give up suggestions and advice in order to help me along my journey, because I am going to need it. Below is a list of things I am currently working on, as well as pictures of recent achievements. Enjoy! Prayer: 52/77 Magic: 37/99 Quest Points: 2/324 Dungeoneering: 1/85 Pictures: 45 Prayer 50 Prayer
  22. Thanks for the welcome destiny. It feels good to be apart of TRR. Now to just get situated. My playing time unfortunately will be less than par because of the work schedule I have and being deployed overseas at the moment, but I only have a couple of months left, so it won't be too bad. Trying to check the forums as much as possible and at least keep that front open.
  23. Haha, not quite the reaction I thought I would get. Yeah, my plan is the build a computer that is going to last me at least 8-10 years on graphical, video, audio, and visual applications with minimal upgrades. People argue the entire 3-way SLI with the 580s with the Quad SLI 590s but what they fail to realize is the the GTX 590s are a dual GPU card and so the processing speed isn't quite as fast because media information is basically broken into 2 separate processes instead of 3. Idk, but I like the 580s much better. As for the processor, I went overboard big time with it, seeing the i7-990x alone costs $1000, but in the long run it will pay off. I will post a full list of specs soon and let you comment as you see fit :)Thanks for the welcome and yes, I would rather you know something about me instead of just saying "Hey! I joined"
  24. GREETINGS!Well, for starters, I would like to welcome you all to my introduction page. You may call me Jason, but as with all RuneScape names, that usually becomes your call sign. As for a little bit of background information on myself:I am 22 years of age, originally born in Naples, Italy, later moved to the United States where I currently stay in Tennessee. I should be moving in April of 2012 to Florida. I am currently apart of the Armed Forces and deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Luckily enough, I am on the backside of the deployment and will be home in a couple of months. I play RuneScape as often as I can while I am here, fighting the horrible internet service and odd work hours. I enjoy gaming, MMA, sports and of course I can't forget all the beautiful ladies . I actually have plans in building my own computer when I get home. I am probably going to end up dumping $7-8,000 in the computer alone, but I am planning on running 8-10 hard drives with both the Mac OS and Windows 7 applications (yes, it can be done). If I had to choose though, I would most definitely go with Windows. The only reason I want the Mac OS is for the graphical/video editting work that I do in my free time. So, now you are probably wondering, where is all that other money going to? Well, I'm going to end up running GTX 580s in 3-Way SLI (overkill, yes i know) with a i7-990x processor superclocked to 5.2 GHz (again overkill i know). The rest of the components besides the motherboard are multiples, mainly fans and cooling units. What jumps the price up so high though, is the (3) 32" monitors with mounting brackets, the computer chair, and the corner desk I am buying to support the computer itself . If you have any suggestions, please throw them my way. I enjoy talking about technology. Oh and the computer will be pushing out 224-245 FPS, more than likely, it will constantly run around 80-150 FPS, in order to avoid image frizzing due to the screen's refresh rate/processors FPS output.ANYWAY, I have been around the RuneScape world since the MUD back in 1999, which later released as RSC. Those were the good ole days, when everyone was care free. Instead of now, where we are constantly battling bots, which has increased ten-fold in the last year and then the restrictions that follow from Jagex. I played religiously for about 8 years, then settled down for that last couple of years. In 2010, I left the RuneScape community to venture other interests. Sadly enough, this game is really addicting because it has sucked me back into it's orbital hold, haha. Now, instead of using my old account, I am building from the floor up with a new character. I know there have been plenty of updates in the last year, year in a half and so, I only seek help in building this new character, besides the other obvious roles as being apart of the clan itself.Well, there is my spill, if you have questions or suggestions, please, by all means post them here and I will gladly reply to them. Thanks,Arthur Liem
  25. What is your primary RuneScape account's name? Arthur Liem Your account's combat and total/overall level? Combat: p2p lvl 15 Total: 90 Have you ever been in a clan before? If so, which one(s)? Been in many on my older account. I just came back from a long break and this is my first clan application on this account. Where did you hear about TRR? I've known about the community for quite some time, but was invited from a post on RHQ. What were your first impressions of us? I have yet to meet some of the clan members, but from reading the history and certs about the clan, to watching a couple of videos, I have a good feeling that this is where I belong. Why do you wish to join our clan? Well, I just came back to the game, and while I have 9-10 years of experience under my belt, I know that there are a constant stream of updates and new strategies to skills, etc. I wanted to find a clan/community where I could fit in, makes some friends, find some help and in return, help others.
