in all seriousness. why the fuck do I need 500GB on a games console? -.- just makes it cost more.

 

I'm guessing it's because they're going to start transitioning more and more to downloadable games. I had an 80GB, and it filled up FAST and I really didn't even have that much downloaded content on it. If the PS4 lasts as long as the PS3 did there might be space issues.
