My main problem is that I can't buy a home in Falkreath because I need one more person to help, but a dragon killed all the npcs that were left. Either I need to know if there is an option I don't know about, or, in order to buy all the houses, is it possible to buy 2 houses right now, build them fully, and then go to a later save and build Falkreaths house, and still get the achievement?

an option you may not know about... hmm. Have you picked the vegetables at the farm there in town and sold them to the farmer who could have just as well done the job himself without costing him any gold? Cuz apparently picking someones own crop and selling it to them is considered help, even if its just one lousy vegetable.
