Skyrim Epistolary Acumen Black Book

Hello, guys. I was looking for all black books watching some videos. They say to find Epistolary Acumen at the end of The path of knowledge quest. And I walked through that quest way before that. But I don't remember finding that book and reading that. I also don't have it in my items. How is that possible if I cannot drop it. How do I have that quest completed, if I have not read it. I do not remember anything and do not know anything. Please help me.

From what I remember, you temporarily lose the book during the quest The Gardener of Men. You can loot it back from Storn's corpse after he dies during that quest, so I'd first check Skaal Village and see if you forgot to do that. If it's not there, you can use console commands to retrieve it (assuming you have the PC version).
