Console Changes not saving.

Everything was going well until previous game. I started a new game today problem is anything i make change with console command won't remain constant to be more clear i have to enter the console command again in next load of the game. for example if i type a player.setav speedmult 300 i have to retype the console again incase if i quit the game and play again. There is no problem with other saves of the game only the console does not remain it changes back to default on next load. Help would be highly appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

Are you sure that specific command doesn't reset in the same way on your other save files? player.setav commands aren't permanent for everything - only some things - and it's normal for them to reset.

 

There are alternatives to .setav (.modav, .forceav), but they don't add values in the same way. They're also difficult to reset, so I'd advise against using them unless you really understand what they do and what the default values are for whatever you change.
