Help, odd game slow after No One Escapes Cidhna Mines

I have finished the mission and as I talk to Thanor Silver-Blood to get my items back the game freezes. I have no previous saves b4 the quest and I've tried everything online. I managed to escape before he could talk to me and I've even attacked him to pickpocket my items back to no avail. If there is any way around this glitch please help. Thank you.It doesn't just freeze the game slows down ALOT.

So this is a month old but I'll tackle it just in case someone happens across this from Google or something.

 

You probably just have a ton of items and the game slows when it's depositing them in your inventory. Does it fix itself after you continue to play for awhile? I just have this image of 20,000 healing potions in my head.
