Escape From Chigna Mine

I have finished the mission and as I talk to Thanor Silver-Blood to get my items back the game freezes. I have no previous saves b4 the quest and I've tried everything online. I managed to escape before he could talk to me and I've even attacked him to pickpocket my items back to no avail. If there is any way around this glitch please help. Thank you

It doesn't just freeze the game slows down ALOT.
