0 David Posted March 20, 2014 Report Share Posted March 20, 2014 You have to purchase land from the Jarls of the Pale and Falkreath Hold. The only steward that is involved is the one in Morthal. To adopt a child, you need to purchase a child's bedroom in at least one of the existing (not Hearthfire self-built) houses. Breezehome - WhiterunHoneyside - RiftenVlindrel Hall - MarkarthProudspire Manor - SolitudeHjerim - WindhelmNote that these upgrades (with the exception of Proudspire Manor?) all cause storage loss.
