Templar Video w/ Commentary and Dungeon Guide

Recommended Posts

here's my first attempt at a commentary on the Templar class in ESO. Doing a PVE dungeon guide from Spindleclutch since there were way too many random zerg pvp videos already out there.

Skills used are in the description and commentary goes a bit into mechanics and rotations.

Ill go ahead and cook up a skill template for it and post it as soon as its finished.

Thanks for the vid.

wow reverse slash spamming is a op finisher. Love it

Question on backlash. Description on elder souls says 33% damage to nearby enemies and esohead says 33% damage to target. Which is correct?

Also I figured backlash was based on damage from caster only, but after watching your vid the damage was too high, so it is based on all damage from group for the 6 seconds? If so it is a must have for Templars in groups.

btw your video's audio was very low, but good work anyway.

backlash stores up the dmg that YOU do to the target for 6 seconds.. then "pops" for that dmg +33%.. its not group wide. The problem i have iwth it.. its not TRUE 33% for 6 seconds. If you watch..i sometimes get 4 reverse slashes off.. doing about 750-800 dmg. techincally.. the backlash should "pop" for 750+250=1000dmg.. however it appears to be capped at 335 in my combat text.  And no.. it is not aoe.. just single target. the only thing i regret was not being able to morph it to test the aoe heal it leaves behind. If the Elder Souls tooltip is correct.. that will be a SIGNIFICANT group HOT that you can permanently keep up by just dpsing.
