PvP Class to duo with Healing Templar

Hi all and thanks for checking out my post.

I need some help working out my class and build for PvP in ESO.  I am not concerned with PvE and have a very specific goal:

I will be almost exclusively duoing with a healing focused Templar running around Cyrodiil looking for 2vX PvP fights.

We will be going Aldmeri Dominion.  What do you all feel would be the best class to duo with a Healing Templar?  Keeping in mind I prefer melee as my main focus.  I am cool with ranged as my secondary bar, but am also ok with another melee set.  Only stipulation is I do not want to roll a Templar.

Thanks for your help!

FYI, I will be fighting duo with my son 90% of the time. I will be a Templar and he will be a DK. He uses fiery grip to pull, and we will use a lot of area effect auras: Molten Weapons, Obsidian Shield from the DK; Restoring Aura, Rushed Ceremony (instant heal that morphs to heal 2 others), Solar Flare (morphs to a PBAOE which improves the attack power of next hits), and eventually Cleansing Ritual and Backlash.

That being said, IMO almost any class will work well with a Templar. The Templar can easily be a tank and/or a healer, which pretty much means the other character can be anything, except maybe another Templar (although even that could work if the auras stack). But if you prefer melee, DK or Nightblade might be best. DK has some ridiculously good class abilities, but Nightblade would give you better pure single target dps. A dps caster would work well with a Templar but you said you prefer melee...
