Where, Oh Where Is My Shadowmere?

Hi,

So, I have been looking for my shadowmere for quite sometime now, and I have completely no idea where he is. I think when I lost him was during a dragon fight near the solitude stables. I took a horse because it said *Take, and now shadowmere is nowhere to be found.

Shadowmere will generally respawn/return to the dark pool by the sanctuary where you got him originally OR where he was killed. Have you checked those places? He can be bugged but it's a good bet he's in on of those two places.

i have searched the whole map of where he might be. when i first realized he was gone i looked at all the stables and at the sanctuary. 

 

im on the 360 and finished dark brotherhood questline.

Yeah, there's really not much else you can do besides looking in the usual places or where he may have died and subsequently respawned. He is known to disappear from the game on occasion.

 

If you have Hearthfire installed, he may also be at one of your houses.

I do, but i lost him before i was considering buying it.
