My horse won't stay home !

I own FROST & the damm horse wont stay @ stable. Even took a carriage 2 place i have been ! My major issue is i get some where get off 2 sneak & fight next thing i know Frost is in the middle of it & getting killed or bringing me out of hiding. How can i make him stay @ a stable when i fast travel or Even walk from there ??

If you get off of Frost and then mount another horse, Frost will stay where he was left. Of course, then the other horse might follow you, but you can probably ditch/kill a generic stable horse without any major repercussions.
