Skyrim Issue: Malborn Diplomatic Immunity Freeze

cI am on the quest Diplomatic Immunity ( i think ). I am inside the part, i give the drunk guy a beer and he starts to distract everyone . I tell malborn "im ready" and the game freezes.

Before giving the guy a beer to distract everyone, i can tell him im ready and he will say "make a distraction" or something, so i can talk to him fine until the distraction is going on, then i can't talk to him anymore. I don't know what to do i have restarted skyrim twice (on steam PC Skyrim version). I just downloaded the game two days ago (after quititing for a long time, and having to redo all this because i deleted my saves). I don't know what to do from this point as this is the main story and there is nothing i can do to progress.

Hmm, i tried using console commands to open the door, and it skipped that dialoge straight to "lets go". That seemingly bypasses the freeze. Suppose this can be closed.
