Can't go on!!! Help please?

I escorted Esbern to Riverwood to talk to Delphine, and they weren't talking, so i went outside of the Inn to do a different quest, and as soon as i got outside it said i listened to Esbern and Delphine talk and now i can't do any other quests, so i can't finish the main quest! But i am supposed to go to Alduin's wall with Esbern and Delphine, any suggestions with what i should do? Does this make sense to you guys?

You should be able to just travel to Karthspire and they will meet you there. The quest is kind of buggy but most of the stuff arrives after you get to the temple, so I'm not sure if what you're experiencing is actually a bug or just unclear instructions. If traveling to Karthspire doesn't work look through the bugs listed here and here and see if there is a fix.
