Alright, I have been playing Skyrim for quite some time now and I have never had a crashing problem until now. Before I address the problem, I'll give you some background. Several months ago, I went online to look at some mods for Skyrim and steam started updating the game with the new patch and high res texture pack. The only problem is that it was about 2 Gb to download, and with internet service I get I can't do that because I'll go over the 5 Gb monthly limit. So I never updated it, and then it never let me play Skyrim until I finished the update. A couple months passed and my PC stopped working, so I put Skyrim on my laptop and played on there until my desktop was fixed. I got my desktop fixed and I transferred the High Res Packs from my laptop to my desktop instead of downloading the whole things. I went online and steam noticed I did that and said the packs were already in the file so it stopped the update and let me play Skyrim. Now, when I go to play the game it goes to the menu no problem and load my game, the game goes fine and then within a few seconds the game crashes to the desktop... there are no errors, nothing! I restarted the game and tried it again, but the same thing keeps happening. PLEASE HELP!! I haven't played in a while and I'm tired of all of this crashing , what do I do??
